I like Dr. Rios. I have only seen him twice but he is good to talk to and informative and willing to take the time to answer all of my questions. I respect that a lot. His front office staff is another matter. I know that Adi is his brother and suspect there are other family members and can understand why. However. They lack professionalism. The dont give theii names when answering the phone which is a BIG ISSUE for me. Dr. Rios agreed that they should give thieir names but when I called today the man who answered the phone didnt. He is the person I find fault with. He sits at the front desk, doesnt smile and is rude. I asked him to repeat my birth date because I thought he heard it wrong and then when I acknowledged that it was me that was wrong he was just too quick to say Yes, you were wrong". That wasnt necessary. I wish I could give other examples of why he angers me but it is a subtle thing and Im sure that time will prove that he does not belong where he is and that he gives the practice a bad name. I cant help but wonder if he is a family member also and thinks that gives him some excuse for his absence of customer service skills.

The doctor is extremely busy and maybe the high volume of patients is being detrimental to the services provided. Its clear that many patients like him hence the volume and even though he seems to be a good person, gave me the impression that he cares, and seems to have a great personality, I was a little disappointed with the fact that he was too quick to prescribe medication without doing a comprehensive test to confirm the values on my blood work given that all values were normal just a few months before. He declined to re-test and insisted that I take medication. According to his nurse, if i wanted to discuss the reasons I didnt want to take that medication and why I wanted to re-test (which was obvious), I would have to schedule another appointment with the Dr. I then called asked another Doctor I see at another clinic, explained the situation and she immediately sent an order for another blood work. As I expected the values were all normal... I also have to mention that the guy at front desk doesnt have good customer service skills in person or over the phone.

I took my children for a well visit to see Dr. Rios for the first time today. We waited 10 minutes before being called back. Our medical assistant, Veronica, was knowledgeable and friendly. The exams with Dr. Rios were very thorough and we didnt feel rushed. He asked my daughter to be his assistant while he examined my son - which she found so fun. He was gentle, warm, friendly, and humorous. What I especially appreciated is that he took the time to provide age-appropriate pre-teen patient education to my son about taking care of his body. His office is warm and inviting - and its obvious so much thought and care went into the design. The childrens exam room has a real tree in it along with a dinosaur exam table. Its happy and upbeat! After the visit was over - one of my children said "That was fun" and the other asked "Can he be our doctor from now on?"

I needed a referral to a specialist since this doctor did not know what my health issue was. I was in so much pain I couldnt wait for him to get back to the country. I called his office talked with his wife and asked for a referral for a specialist. His wife and doctor Rios refused and after practically begging for so long on the phone they sent it. A few weeks later I received a letter, kicking me out of their facility it was worded very degrading saying I had a "non christian attitude" and that I was not to return, I have a total of 3 letters from this place since I refused to let them know I received such a terrible letter. I cant believe they went out of their way to send these letter but when I was in pain writing a simple referral was TOO hard. I would never recommend this doctor or their staff. Keep out if you can! You have been warned!

Dr Rios es el mejor de la ciudad su profesionalismo y su amabilidad ha hecho que toda mi familia lo siga, siempre tiene una sonrisa en la cara eso hace que uno se sienta mucho mejor ademas cuando llamo hacer citas con el hacen lo mejor para acomodar a el paciente .....les daría más de 5 estrellas y lo seguiré hasta el fin del mundo..

Today was my first time going to Dr Rios, I had no appointment, but I went online several weeks ago to add him as my primary doctor. My first impression of his business from the outside looks great, but my mind changed when I met Marco Rivas the front desk secretary/clerk/azzhole. I understood that I had to wait, since I did not have appointment, but he was so unprofessional about it. He needs to retrained on his customer service skills. Marco Rivas has no place at your front office. Business lost, because of Marco Rivas I will change my primary doctor to someone else.

I called at 9am asking to see the Dr. if at all possible because Sunday (day prior) my daughter was bit by a horse. Expecting to be told no especially since she isnt a patient with them, I was surprised to hear " we can see her at 10:45." Very clean and comfortable clinic. The examination rooms are child orientated and keep them entertained during the wait. Thank you Dr. Rio you are great with your patients.

Fantastic doctor. Fantastic staff. Caring and compassionate. Thorough. The whole family goes, including my baby!! Dr Rios gladly saw me at a time when no other doctor in Houston would. Appointments are easy to make, and I rarely have to wait long to be seen, which is rare. We have been with him for a year and are happy we truly have a family doctor! Search no further. Youll be happy you found this clinic!

I have been a patient of Dr.Rios for 3 years now. He is extremely caring and very thorough. His bedside manner is by far the best I have had out of any doctor EVER. He is patient in explaining you diagnosis and treatment plans,and never makes me feel rushed. The office is also very nice,and the front desk staff as well as the medical assistant is always friendly,which is very important to me.

Just moved to Houston a few months ago, a family member and myself have received great service from the Doctor and the staff. One day I needed a Surgical Clearance and they even faxed the papers to my clinic for Cataract surgery, the same day, they cleaned my ears, had to much ear wax, just outstanding service.

The Dr is nice but super busy. Ive been here three times and today was my 1st time meeting him. I had an appointment at 3pm. Made it here at 230pm and didnt get to see the doctor till 356pm. This is not my 1st long wait here. I was thinking smaller was better but that is a lie. The man at the front desk is rude.

My husband and I continue to see and trust the counsel of Dr. Rios. He always seeks the natural solution which, has proven to be just the thing. He also spends time with us talking about our health concerns. Very rare.
