I have been blessed with excellent vision most of my life, but, having hit the half-century mark, the inevitable "ravages of age" have necessitated getting glasses. After diligently surfing the web, I decided to try Signature Eye Care in the Galleria and I am glad that I did. Dr. Fishel and her staff are dedicated to providing their patients with not only the best possible products, but also the best possible experience. Everyone there is unfailingly polite, deferential and knowledgeable, providing personal service and attention that borders on pampering. The sales staff are clearly not driven by the high pressure of commission sales, but, rather, by a genuine desire to help you find what YOU like, and what works for YOU. They will work with you to customize the fit of your chosen frames to your satisfaction. They work more like artists than sales associates. The technical staff are unfailingly professional and polite as well, from the nightmare of insurance billing to patient records, they provide exemplary service focused on making your experience as pleasant as possible. Dr. Fishel herself is charming and delightful and is clearly dedicated to her patients, their needs and their concerns. She is extremely knowledgably and takes the time to explain everything and answer questions and concerns in a readily understandable way that takes the fear and mystery out of vision problems. The frames offered are top notch, the very best available in fit and style. All the leading designers are represented and, although a little pricey, the quality is certainly worth every penny. Ici Berlin and Lindberg being my personal two favorites. Signature Eye Care is the proof of the old adage "You get what you pay for." You can go to a big box store or a strip mall, or, if your vision matters to you, you can go to Dr. Fishel and the superior excellence of Signature Eye Care.

Service. Expertise. Attention. A successful business should encompass all three qualities. Signature Eye Care exceeds the mark on all three. From the moment you walk into the store, you are kindly greeted by a staff member. Their approach is the perfect mix of attentiveness and yet giving the customer their space. The staff is incredibly polite and will work with you no matter how complex the request can be. The optometrist, in addition to striking this perfect balance of service, is also incredibly knowledgeable and practical. Her office has invested in new equipment which generally cuts down the usual appointment time. Moreover, you can tell she clearly cares about her patients and is not there to push products on you. Her taste in frames is unparalleled as she has a seasoned understanding to recognize what frames go with your style. She quickly identified that my previous glasses prescription was slightly off and fixed the problem. In addition, she spent time with me explaining the differences between the various contacts - which proved to be incredibly helpful as my eyes are no longer dry. I could not have been happier with my visit.

This place is awful and the doctors are extremely uninformative. They dont explain a thing to you, charge your insurance, then have their pushy sales people constantly hand you their overpriced frames to try on. I went in for an exam and was told on top of my nearsightedness I had a slight astigmatism. Yet with no explanation, I was prescribed contact lenses to ONLY correct for my nearsightedness, not my astigmatism (was also charged for the contacts fitting that I didnt need). At my follow up appointment I didnt even get to see the same doctor. I had to explain my headaches and eye problems all over again to this different doctor, explained what the other one told me.... Long story short...after all this and several phone conversations with their unhelpful phone people, I got my prescription which I dont even think is correct. Im going to see another eye doctor just to get it straight.

I was greeted in in a timely mannered and was welcomed with open arms. Was a walk in and was wanting a check up, and new frames! within less than 5 minutes I was taken in! Fast service and I already loved it. The Doctor there was such a sweet lady and asked me many questions reassure me (been years since Ive been to an optometrist so I forgot how it works). When we finished with the exam the young lady in the front named Evon showed me some frames that were to my liking after I told her what I was looking for, she gave me 5 frames and we narrowed it down to 2 and after 30 minutes of going back forth we decided on a Tom Ford frame. I was so ecstatic for my new frame, received it within 3 business days. What I like the most about this optical is the employees there, they knew what they were doing and I didnt have to worry about one thing at all!

First things first, I am blind! My astigmatism is through the roof and it makes wearing glasses difficult because my lenses end up either giving me a headache or makes my vision all sorts of distorted. Dr. Fishel and her staff were the answer to my prayers. Shes thorough & wants to get to know you so that her recommendations for glasses or contacts are exact and helpful with what you do in your everyday life. They have the best selection in all price ranges to fit anyones budget, but still remain stylish. Her staff are all knowledgeable in knowing what kind of lenses to recommend and what kind of frames will look good and work well with your prescription. I appreciate attention to detail & Signature does that for me! Thank you for making my yearly exam so easy & eventful!

Bottom line they SUCK. I had an appointment with them at 5:30 pm that i scheduled a week before. I even called a day before to confirm my appointment and they said yes. When i arrived on time the receptionist told me that my appointment was at 5pm and that the doctor cannot see me anymore so i have to reschedule! She insisted that I am lying and she is right. I rushed leaving work and going into the galleria traffic to be on time and then did nothing. Shame on them..

I took my daughter here after she failed a test at her pediatricians office. Dr. O sees patients as young as 5 and has state of the art equipment. Within a half an hour she determined that my LO had 20/20 vision and had guessed wrong at her ped visit because she didnt realize all of the letters were capital! While we were there we decided to get her fitted for her very first fancy sunglasses. Needles to say we both walked away happy :-)

Always one to support small private businesses! Great optometry place carrying top notch designer as well as foreign brands. (Tom Ford, Lindberg, Oliver Peoples, etc.) Staff is straight forward and honest, was not pushy like other places forcing a sale. Will come back for more frame purchases! **This place is INSIDE the galleria mall and on a separate floor above the rest of the retail stores, which is nice. 3rd floor next to Saks 5th.**
