Dont bother going here. Not only did I wait for an hour for them to see me, then waited another almost 30 minutes to pick out my glasses and go over my insurance. They told me I had a discount plan with my insurance company which at the time I thought was wrong but since the insurance was new i didnt question it (my fault). I ended up paying $400 + for my exam, contact lenses evaluation and glasses. Once I got home I looked into my insurance and realized I was right and I had a free exam and contact lenses exam and they covered basically 75% of my glasses. I called them back the following week and they looked into it and told me that lady had messed up when looking up my insurance. She said I would have to wait for the insurance to pay the claims before I could get a refund. Long story short here I am 2 week and 1/2 later and still no refund. I will never go back to this place! Not only are they expensive they make you wait hours and they take advantage of you. Its your job to have accurate insurance information, if you cant even do that you shouldnt be working there. All they care about is getting peoples hard working money. One of the ladies on the phone even had the nerve to give me a little attitude and told me to just wait for a letter in the mail from them once the refund comes in. Yea lets see if youd like to wait almost 3 week for your paycheck to come in.

I have been going here for 6 yrs. I do not know or understand why or how these people stay in business. The last 2 yrs have been the worse ever. I have spent many dollars in here not to speak of what my insurance has paid. The last 2 yrs I have not been fitted right on my contacts. I have been wearing contact for years. I either see up close or far away but cant see both. I keep telling them and they say try this nope doesnt work. I think finally this time the young lady got my script right but the contacts they keep giving me or defected. The edge is cut out or nothing in the container at all not even liquid. I have talked with the so called office manager and everyone in there. I had a big blow out with supposively the girl in charge of ordering. I am not going to pay for contacts that are defective or container empty. I know what has happened is the manufacture has cut the material short when they cut the contacts out and the contact is cut on the edge hoping no one will notice. This is B.S. If I dont catch it I have a horrible day at work trying to see and my eye is red and blurry when I get home. I will tell you the brand name is: ProClear multi focals. They are horrible. I am done with these people and these contacts. You are wasting your time and money going there. My name is Melinda Wiseman and I approve this message.

We have been using eye trends for several yrs and this weeks demonstrates exactly why we do. My daughter Elissa got me glasses in march and she hasnt been able to wear them since she got them. I went back in and asked them to please check out her prescription. Alisha took on the huge task of trouble shooting what the problem could be. It was at that time she chose to have her see Dr Tom. After a new apt with Dr Tom they were able to find the problem. Alisha then made sure to have her new lenses created and in the same day at that. She immediately was able to wear her glasses and has been wearing them for hrs now. Thank yall so much for taking such good care of your patient and assuring me her mom that yall will do whatever it takes to make sure your patients have everything they need to have a more successful ad healthy life.

I’ve been going to Eye Trends for the past ten years. Even though I moved to Houston four years ago, I still use them for my optometry needs. The staff, from reception to physicians, is courteous and helpful. Any questions I have are answered in a timely and professional manner. The doctors are both knowledgeable and honest. When it comes to products, they have a large selection of frames and contacts. Anything not in inventory can be ordered and delivered to their location. Ive also found them to be pretty competitive with online pricing. But what I really enjoy is the personal service. Employees, such as Monica Ogilvie, have remembered me and my family members. This has made for convenient and enjoyable visits throughout the years. I highly recommend Eye Trends for anyone seeking optometry assistance!

Avoid this so called business....its a joke. I got screwed like all the others that were inside the business complaining at the counter when I was there to pick up a back up pair since my first pair was falling apart. My first pair took 4 weeks when they agreed to 2 weeks to arrive. My second pair took longer and when I picked them up they examined the pair that was falling apart and she said, no problem, they simple need our tech to tightened them up, when she returns with them they were broken and she said sorry, but they were broke already when you gave them to me so there is nothing I can do. Amazing. Flat lied after destroying the crappy glasses that worked fine seconds before.....just loose arms. Everyone I have talked to about this place had bad experiences too. AVOID

I have worked with Stephanie Simmons several times over the last year. She has helped me to get insurance to approve my special needs childs glasses when I had issues getting them to agree that she needed them(This was last year) Stephanie was just able to get Adelines insurance to cover a new pair of glasses and lenses as well as to get her original pair replaced under warranty. We initially choose Conroe Eye Trends because it was one of the only place to offer miraflex glasses that Adeline needs but we will continue to take our business to them. Adeline and I are very appreciative for all the hard work she has done for us, I highly recommend going to see her, especially if you are having issues with insurance approval.

So I was in town and was told my contacts would be ready in a week, a little over a week went by and I decided to check and see if my contacts were in,the lady that answered the phone sighed very exaggeratedly and asked my information in a very bored and annoyed tone. She said she didnt know if they were in yet. Instead of getting up and checking she just repeated that she didnt know and told me they would call when they got there. Not even 30 minutes later,as I got home, I received a call saying they were ready. The laziness and impolite manner of answering was shocking. I had never received such horrible service here before and am frankly quite shocked that they lowered theyre standards for hiring employees.

While I saved money on my frame, I had to wait a very long time to see someone to fit and measure for my glasses. I paid for an upgrade on the lens coating package to include anti-glare, anti-scratch coating. Less than a year later the lenses are scratched WORSE than any pair Ive ever had in spite of being very cautious about their care, and they are definitely NOT anti-glare, either! Wish I had noticed sooner, but when soft t-shirt material can scratch your anti-scratch lenses they are NO GOOD! Likely wont be back. The coating on a pair of glasses I got at Sams Club was MUCH better! This was supposed to be the same but absolutely is not.
