The customer service is abysmal. I went in for a recheck as the glasses I had made had made me dizzy and unable to tolerate them. The optometrist practically yelled at me while I was in the chair about the fact that I was in for a recheck when I hadnt taken the glasses home and worn them for two weeks. I told her they had rescheduled me because I couldnt read the signs in the store properly, and had to ask her why she was so angry with me. I asked for my husband to come in because she was getting heated and I didnt know how to handle it, he had come with me so I wouldnt be subjected to this AGAIN. She got up, BLOCKED MY WAY to the door, and told me to "SIT DOWN." She said it was a violation of HIPPA for him to come in with me, even though I had requested it. That is incorrect. She told me that it was normal for me to have nausea and dizziness when wearing glasses, since I had had Lasik almost 10 years ago. I have work glasses off and on for the past 5 years and this has never been an issue. Again, incorrect. The staff is lazy and rude, and the doctor violated my rights when she got up and stood in front of me to block my way out the door. I was nothing but nice during my visit and was extremely insulted in their treatment of me. I wish I could give this place less than one star. UNACCEPTABLE to treat PAYING CUSTOMERS this way.

Absolutely the worst place! The Westminster location, in particular. I saw five different optometrists at this location in repeated FAILED attempts to get the correct prescription for contact lenses. Eventually, I gave up, only after spending a few hundred dollars on contacts that did not fit. They irritated my eyes so badly that I could wear each pair for no more than an hour. I also purchased 2 pairs of glasses. The regular glasses broke within a year. The lenses in the sunglasses popped out daily. Which, caused me to lose one lens. When I called a year later to ask to have my prescription faxed to me (so I could take it elsewhere!) I was told that the receptionist would lose her job if she sent it to me. Even if I signed a consent to release document! I will NEVER go to this location, perhaps not even another location, simply because I spent $500+ and have nothing to show but hours of wasted time and a poor customer service experience!

I had a wonderful experience at Visionworks. I had to have my eye exam on base but then go off base because Tricare covers no cost for glasses or contacts. From family members getting glasses I know that even with good insurance that glasses are expensive so I was not surprised at the prices. But what I did love is that they had a buy one COMPLETE glass/ lens get a second COMPLETE glass/ lens free. Also I bought the insurance policy which covered both sets for the price of one. Meg was very thorough and patient with me and made great suggestions. Also she detailed the priced multiple ways including trying to use my old insurance plan that was still in place to get me the best deal possible. She laid out every option so I could make an informed decision. I have no complaints. I had to special order lens and they were even in almost 6 days earlier then I was quoted. I would definitely visit Visionworks again.

I found nice frames that I really like, but they gave me one defective lens and refused to replace it unless I payed an extra $160 for a new lens, which I could not afford because I had already payed $150 for the frames plus $160 for each lens totaling $470 plus tax for one pair of glasses. This price was only told to me after they already made the glasses and I had to pay for them, which I would not have if I had known it would be so expensive. They also looked at my insurance for me and told me it would cover all of the cost, then when it came time to pay they told me my insurance wouldnt cover any of it and I had to pay almost $500 out of pocket.

I ordered 3 pairs, one for myself, my wife and my daughter, when we went to the store to pick up the glasses the lenses were terribly finished, the plastics had scratches, we had to return them twice at the very end we had to ask for the money to be reimbursed, which they did. Not a good idea to visit this store, they dont deliver.

I went in for a perscription on April 22nd. There were only 2 women working their, and they both gave me so much excelent costumer service that I will always go back to this store as long as those 2 ladies are working there.
