Everything about this facility (including the staff and dental clinic) deserves 5 stars. I must only give it three stars because of my multiple negative experiences with Dr. Montalvo. His bedside manner is very cold and it is my impression that I am an inconvenience for him by asking questions regarding my health. The nurses, hygienists, and adiministrative staff are always happy to listen and help in any way. I will continue to utilize that facility while I am a student but I do not recommend seeing Dr. Montalvo.

Every time Ive interacted with the university health clinic Ive had a bad experience. Staff are dismissive and act as thought students are wasting their time. This is especially a problem with scheduling staff. As health care professionals, they need to make a better effort to be empathetic and kind to their clients.

They cancelled my appointment twice (With no advance notice) and I am still waiting for about 20 days to consult with an Orthopedic surgeon! The worst part is that they did not utter the word "Sorry" when they cancelled my appointment (Twice). I am really frustrated with the service.
