Sometimes you get lucky and you get the attention and conscious engagement from one or two people in the staff or practitioners. Sometimes you dont. Sometimes youll make appointments through gritted teeth while someone tells you that they absolutely cant give you a longer appointment time, even though youve been trying to see someone about something for a while now, and after they assure you that this one appointment time will be sufficient to set up necessary follow ups, you will receive a notification and invitation to reschedule because the provider everyone assured you would be most helpful wants to go on spring break a day early too. Good luck with all of this. Its a maze of privilege and trigger words and talking points. Drop the wrong word and they wont let you talk to certain departments because they think your problems are one thing and they arent going to let you bother everyone else with your nonsense.

Overall care here is good and a very convenient location for students, faculty and staff. For walk in care triage they did a fine job at diagnosis even by the the Physician Assistants. The recommendations for local hospitals are trustworthy if you need a surgical procedure they cant handle in house. Prescription wait experience was a bit disappointing where it is unclear why they have you take a number, ask if you will wait for pickup, but never call your number even when your order is done. You may have to get back in line if after your suggested wait to pick up your order. They could improve that wait experience.

Worst experience of my life. I was incredibly sick and the nurse did a very good job, but the "doctor" came in and spoke with me for one minute and her only advice was to "get a thermometer". 3 days later I was at the ER for pneumonia, a sinus infection and strep throat. Had to travel all the way home to New York to REAL doctors to be treated. I ended up spending over $1000 on travel fees, the health center fees, and other doctor fees. My doctor from home said it would have all been prevented if I had been treated when I originally went.

I honestly have had a great experience here. Everything would take a lot longer if I had to go to different providers outside of the school. Im a grad student and live off campus so its really helpful to have a womens clinic, general practitioner, travel clinic, x-rays (sports), pharmacy in one place. Everything has been reasonable and just like a regular doctors office elsewhere! Nice, caring staff.

The best experience I ever had with a medical professionals! I went to see Dr. Cosby for a minor surgery. She knew exactly what she was doing and was very confident. It was Nurse LeGrands first time assisting in the procedure but she made sure that everything was prepared and followed orders exactly. I felt very safe and the whole thing only took an hour. Very good job!

Unhelpful staff, unprofessional service. Called the travel clinic and they insisted that they only provide service for those travelling more than 4 weeks away. They were insistent on this nonsensical policy that apparently applies nowhere else besides UM, went to another travel clinic in greenbelt... In and out in one hour.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, I was completely neglected by the nurse or doctor whoever they were, very unprofessional and all they kept talking about was my account being billed. I had been badly injured and no one seemed to care. I paid my bill but now that I look back I realize that I paid for a service I never got

The NP did not do a full assessment on me. She only checked my eyes and palpated my neck. They didnt have a problem charging me for a full assessment though.

Rude and unhelpful. They dont care about you. You could probably die on their floor and they wouldnt bat an eye.

Some of the staff is pretty rude and they frequently keep me waiting 45 min- an hour past my appointment time.
