I have had a very poor experience with this company. I called prior to my visit to confirm that they took my insurance and they assured me that they did. When I arrived, they told me they did not take the specific plan I had. My visit is now costing me $150. This was a couple of months ago. Today I called them at 9 AM to have them email me a copy of my prescription so I could go get glasses. They told me they would have it to me after lunch. I called again at 3:30 PM and they told me the doctor had not signed it yet but they would get it to me before the end of the day. It called again at 5:15 PM, and they told me the doctor still had not signed it. It is now 5:30 PM and I am still sitting at work waiting for either an email or a fax from them. It would take their doctor three seconds to sign whatever they need them to sign. Clearly they have no regard for their customers time or money.

Dr. Jessica Stafford was absolutely amazing. I was born and raised on Westheimer, have traveled the world, and never had such comprehensive, intelligent, professional, and friendly service as I did today. I just got out of the office. I had tons of questions, needed a prescription and glasses, and she answered every minute, annoyingly detailed question I had. I have never had such a comprehensive and educational experience at the eye doctor; I thought it was just going to be reading letters and getting an rx. She took her time and I didnt feel rushed. She even helped me all the way to the door, getting me a bag and following up with care. Usually doctors are too busy and leave some of the details to their assistants. The assistants were also very nice and the entire staff was very helpful. If you live/work on Westheimer, make this your eye doctor!

I have been going to Westheimer Vision for years and I am very impressed with their knowledgeable staff and willingness to spend a bit of extra time to answer questions. Unlike the chains, where I typically felt like just a number, Westheimer Vision treats each patient with respect and a very high level of care. Their opticians are also very honest so you know that you will walk out of there with glasses that look great!

I havent been to an optometrist in over a year and I was referred to this office by a friend. I was pleased as soon as I walked in. Very clean, neat and welcoming. The staff were all smiles and friendly. I visited with Dr. Barin whom was very professional and very thorough. I plan to continue coming here to see Dr. Barin and will refer my family and friends. SEE for yourself!

Dr. Thornton has been my provider for several years now and she has taken a potentially bad issue and made it good. She has patiently examined, diagnosed and treated my high eye pressures and has both back to normal. Additionally they have provided very high quality optics for me. I recommend WVA, and especially Dr. Thornton, for anyone requiring professional eye care.

My husband went here and it was his very first visit at this eye center. His overall experience was good. He was treated nicely. His doctor was Dr. Heidi Barin. Very nice and knowledgeable doctor. The office was great. My husband will definitely be going back, and when he does I will make sure to tag along and our 4 kids as well.

Dr. Barin was very thorough with me; she explained the process and answered all of my questions. I usually leave with unanswered thoughts, but not with Dr. Barin. The front desk and the people that help fit glasses were very helpful also. I will be coming back to WVA and recommending my friends and family here.
