If I could give no stars I would. I made an appointment for an eye exam to get new contacts and was asked for my insurance information over the phone and everything was fine. When I arrived, the receptionist was not pleasant and very firm. She was sk rude to the other lady that was also working there. Dr was very nice as well and once I was in the exam room the Dr tells me that she noticed some astigmatism in one of my eyes and she wants me to try a tourec contact. Ok fine. I go to the back and they give me the new pair of contacts and then get taken to the front where the rude receptionist proceeds to tell me that my copay is going to be $120???!?!? Mind you I am using insurance and my copay is always $10. So I tell her that I cant afford that, and that total does not make any sense, they verified my insurance before coming here so what is going on? She then tells me "ok well you can go to the bank and come back and pay us" wth??? She then tells me that my insurance does not cover eye contact fitting and the tourec contact is also extra? Why was I not informed about this before? So the worst part, they make me take out the tourec contact so I can be able to leave... and they required me to pay them the $59 fee for my exam that was "not covered" and tell me that I need to follow up in one week and then...they will give me my prescription!!!! I left so upset and I couldnt really do anything because I had my 3 year old with me. Once I left I called my insurance and they told me that this place is actually OUT of their network now and they should of told me that upfront. I then went back and demanded my prescription and told then I was not going to come back for a follow up and asked why I was never told that they were not in network with my insurance? The receptionist then said "well we are not in network but we work in network" Can someone explain this to me, cause she couldnt. Horrible experience and I am never ever going back there again.

Dr. Long Nguyen is truly the best optometrist! He is very thorough in his exams and took time to really understand my health complaints. Dr. Nguyen addressed every concern I had and gave me great advise of how to care for my contact lens. I appreciate his outstanding care and will be a patient of his for a long time to come. Straight and to the point. Seems like a small business but its the best service Ive ever had. No bs. Fill this paper, heres your exam and this is how blind you are. The doctor is on top of everything he will answer any question. Closed mouths dont get fed so open your mouth and ask him. As long as Im blind Ill keep coming to this place even if I move to the Virgin Islands.

Dr. Nguyen and staff are great. I had another eye doctor for almost 40 years before he retired and was wary of finding a new eye doc. I live close to Dr. Nguyens office so thought Id try there first and was very pleasantly surprised by the personal touch the doc and his staff give each patient. Id totally recommend this office to anyone who needs their services.
