After hours Friday, my contacts went kaput. I had no backups, no glasses, and had to serve on my churchs worship team in 2 days. I desperately needed to see a Dr so I could read my music and be able to see! I first spoke with Sara, who was super sweet and encouraged me to call in the morning in case there was a cancellation. So I did, and despite being booked Klein Eye Care got me in that morning (today, Sat). The wait time was about 10 minutes, including paperwork. Lauren was the assistant, and she was really caring and nice, and made me feel welcome and comfortable. Their puff of air for the eye is worth the visit alone- barely feel It! I was impressed that she wiped all surfaces down in front of me so I felt at ease that everything was sterile. Then I met Dr. Abernathy. He is amazing. Ive worn corrective eyewear for 36 years, and he is the nicest optometrist with the best bedside manner Ive ever met! He really listened to me, and even found the cause of my eye irritation that led me there in the first place. He based his suggestion for contacts based on what made the most sense for me. Totally changed my quality of life - no more worrying about dealing with eye issues from those things! I plan to bring my whole family here, and am so grateful that from day 1, they made me feel important and were really there in my desperate time of need. Im so so thankful for Dr. Abernathy and his team!!!

I switched optometrists a little over a year ago and cant be more please. Dr. G. Gibson has made me believe that I can still continue wearing contacts. He did a hybrid for me which consists of multi-focal lenses combined with monovision. Im a teacher and am now able to see across the room, read my book from the podium, and grade papers, all with my contacts!!!! In addition, hes willing to think outside the box in other ways. Im a screener for Irlen Syndrome, a visual perception problem fixed instantly with color, and he was willing to learn about it and even suggest to someone that maybe this is what could help them. (It could!) My husband and daughter have since both switched to this office and are both very pleased.

Me, my wife, and son all see Dr. Abernathy here. He is very personable. Ive been here about 4 times in 3 weeks for tests/glasses/adjustments. They have a great front staff and testing staff. The Opticians are very nice and work with you on getting your glasses fitting well. They have a nice variety of mens/womens glasses and a small section of kids glasses. In the small waiting area there is a few toys for kids to play with while waiting, which is a plus. Neither myself nor my wife can see us switching to another Optometrist any time soon. They are open until 6p on most week days and until 1p on Saturday, which works well for my work schedule.

On a Sunday I was working outside and got something into my left eye and could not get it out. Dr. Scott was on call and we decided I should come in right away. He quickly found a tiny piece of metal and removed it and gave me medicine to take care of any after effects. I hated to ask him to come in on a Sunday but glad I did. He was very willing to do it and upbeat the whole time I was in the office. He has a very caring attitude toward his patients and also very professional. My wife and I have been going to Klein Eye Care for over 30 years and will not go anywhere else.

Traveled to Spring from Austin, when I got here I realized that I had left my glasses and contacts at home. I have horrible vision so it was crucial that I find a solution quickly. I called Klein Eyecare and explained my situation to Hilda. She went above and beyond and ended up getting me about ten days worth of contacts at no cost to me. She is the kind of person who will go out of her way to help someone just because it is the right thing to do. Thank you Hilda and Klein Eyecare!

Everyone was friendly; from the intial greeting, to the technicians, to the doctor. I felt welcomed and comfortable every step of the way. Everything was done with a smile, even with a room full of people talking and moving at 100 mph. Klein Eyecare was my first option as a provider and Im glad I chose them. If I move anywhere else, I hope my next eye doctors office will be able to live up to your standards. Thanks for making my very first eye doctor visit a memorable one!

Rick is the type of individual that focuses on you as the individual with that philosophy being carried over to his staff who themselves are always friendly and courteous. Even though I suspect it wont be too many years before Rick retires Id be confident that his "style" would remain.

I have been going to Dr Scott for over 15 years and have seen both Dr. GIbsons as well. This is a great team of doctors that in it for the people. All three are gentle and caring. I always have the eyemap thing done. It doesnt cost much at all and does give the doctor a better chance to see your eye. This machine helped Dr. Scott find a health problem in one of his daughters that nobody was aware of. It saved her life. Great Christian Group!

I had some complications with insurance, but the front desk was patient and helpful in getting them resolved. Dr. Gibson O.D. is someone who’s both character and competence I trust. The staff works quickly making the most of my 40min appointment just waiting for the next stage of the exam.

Great first appointment. The staff really is top notch. Ive never felt so welcome and cared. And to top it off my new glasses were ready in 20 minutes when I was expecting a week. But again, the level of service and professionalism shown by the staff are exceptional.

The entire patient experience was great. Dr. Abernathy waited on me, and he was very professional, kind, and helpful. I ordered a new prescription and had the glasses within 2 business days of ordering them. I would recommend this office to anyone.
