Just a quick updated on their Halloween contact lens selection. I was extremely embarrassed and shy to ask the reception people if they sell these contacts because it almost seems like youre asking the dentist which candy they recommend...but please note that its ILLEGAL to buy lens anywhere else than your eye doctor. Ive read up on it and its to discourage buying really crappy and unsterile products from off-market. They were very nice on phone and in person, you should REALLY order 2 weeks-3 weeks before Halloween because some items are more custom drawn. I saw: zombie, vampire, spinning top, hellraiser etc designs. NO SCLERA, thats more theatrical purposes. I got my traditional vampire lens a week after order. insurance does NOT cover this of course, its cosmetic and I paid $60 I think for 2 lens. You can come back after you wear them and they will reseal the lens in the vials they come in. I unfortunately did not find the lens super comfortable. It might be because I have some chronic dryness from previous contact use and am used to the very breathable and light daily disposables. These are somewhat thicker but vision was great, I used drops to moisten eye etc. Will re-order for next Halloween!

New to the area, I found Colony Eye Care Center through my insurance provider. I was blown away by this place. Dr. Salchak, himself, greeted me in the waiting room and invited me back to the exam room. He was meticulous, LISTENED to me and to what I wanted and really worked with me to fit me for multi focal lenses. He was up front that they dont work for everyone (of course, Im one they dont work for), but he went above and beyond to make sure I had the best possible outcome. I saw where someone said he made them feel like he was their only patient -- I vouch for that. He makes you feel like youve known each other for years. His staff is just as incredible as he is. If youre buying glasses, I hope you are lucky enough to have Nicole assist you. Shes top notch. I think thats what really draws me in here, everyone I encountered was very genuine and just truly good people. You will NOT be disappointed by this clinic.If you are, youve got to be a very hard to please person.

Excellent Service, Professional, and Personal. The care my wife and I received there was expedient and cost effective. They took our insurance and we were able to save a lot of money. The care was personalized to both of us. I received my first set of glasses here. The turn around time is 8-10 days. The optometrist is really interesting. He has all sorts of cool collectibles and things around his office. The walls of his exam room are lined with all sorts of neat stuff. This isnt the run of the the mill eye care center. They have the latest technology and very friendly staff. I was surprised by how efficient they were. I was able to pick out my frames, the types of lens I wanted, the color, materials, and design all before leaving the clinic. They had a huge variety of frames and six different combinations of lenses to choose from for different purposes. My family will definitely be going back in the future. I look forward to taking advantage of their continued services.

I agree its an opticians shop but your are a Maui Jims agenct as well so some customers will come in to buy just that - sunglasses! Took 15mins of dumb questions by ladies at the front desk asking for my last name and insurance information then disappearing and even after stating to at least three of these clowns that I was just here for sunglasses, no one came by to attend to me or open the Maui Jim section. Oh I had also called before getting there informing the person who picked up I would be stopping by to look over their Maui Jim collection. Just think it sucks that the owner who pays to keep his/her door open probably doesnt know the staff she hired are in this current instance working against her interest. There were at least three ladies seating gazing at computers while I was absolutely unnoticeable. Took my money elsewhere.

I have been seeing Dr. Salchek since he bought the practice from Carl Ross. It was a smooth transition and the office has stayed patient oriented. He will take the time to answer your questions and is very thorough with his glass and contact exams. I moved to Houston and will continue to use Colony Eye Center of Sugar Land as long as Im around. i have never heard the staff be rude to anyone and they will help you as well. I am taken back at my appointment time. I haven/t had to wait on the doctor very long.. This office is prompt, courteous, and helpful.

I have been going to Dr. Davenport for 20 years now and I have NEVER felt the need to go anywhere else. The staff has always been respectful and efficient. They are all knowledgeable about billing and procedures. I can honestly say (which is super rare) that I have never had a billing issue, or have never been unclear about my appointment, procedures or tests they perform. I have only ever visited 2 other eye doctors because it was an emergency and I was away at college. LOVE LOVE LOVE Colony Eye Care!! 5 stars for 20 years!!

Ive been seeing Dr. Salchak for 20+ years. Both Dr. Salchak and his staff have always been amazing. He is professional, has excellent bedside manner, and stays on top of the latest advancements in his field of expertise. Dr. Salchak is very thorough and takes extra time to make certain all of your questions are answered. Although I no longer live near his office, I continue to drive to his office (over 30+ miles) and look forward to bringing my little ones to him very soon.

The service at Colony Eye Care is exceptional. The entire staff is very friendly and efficient. Dr. Rozner is very thorough and takes her time with me when making sure I have the correct prescription. The staff that helped me with my glasses selection were awesome! They helped me select a style that is trendy and yet not too youthful for someone in my age group. I highly reccommend Colony Eye Care!

I have been going here for several years, I have had nothing but great experiences! Dr Davenport is very thorough and professional. You never feel like you are being rushed, he patiently answers all questions. They also run a great schedule, you dont have to wait, if your appointment is at 10 they will see you at 10! If you are looking for an eye doctor, they are the best!

he clinic is clean, the assisstant was professional and was ex[plaining every step of the way to my son.Our son saw Dr. Davenport. After doing the required testing he had time to answer any questions/ concerns I had. They also have a good selection of frames for a child. Would definitely recommend Colony Eye Care to all my friends!!
