I am over 65 and had vision insurance. I went to them for an examination and new glasses. According to my vision insurance I should have only had a slight charge if my glasses were over their limit. His accounting software decided that it would probably be a better deal for them if they charged Medicare instead of my insurance. I am blessed with good health so had not met my medicate deductible. Therefore, I had to pay my deductible and whatever else I was charged for. Their explanation was that he found two "diagnoses" to charge for. I didnt know that a doctors examination fee was based on a diagnosis rather than a set fee. Did you? He did no procedures...just an exam. You be the judge. Just be sure that if you have insurance that you are billed based on what is best for you not what is best for them based on a software package that is looking out for their best value...which in my case was billing medicare rather than my vision insurance. I challenged the charge and they said that they would rebill it this time but not again. So, there probably wont be an "again". Other than their billing system I was very pleased with their care.

Beautiful building, and all the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The doctor was great. One star off for pricing. WOW - they are high on frames. The one my son picked out was marked $50 OVER the retail price! We are new to the area, and dont have a lot of time to price-check, and again, staff is very friendly, so I ordered them. But I might shop around before next years appointment!

Very nice and new facility. Made an appointment the same day as a first time customer. All the staff and Dr. Were incredibly nice, outgoing, and pleasant. Very cheerful people. Will defiantly be back and recommend to everyone in the area. Thanks for the great customer service guys!

Love both doctors here - they always take the time to answer any questions I have, and I never feel rushed in my appointments. Front office staff is helpful and courteous, and the new office space is top notch. Cant recommend the Bubelas enough
