Over the past 20 or so years we have taken our pets to the Animal Care clinic and received what describe as some of the most compassionate care. Dr Hage and Dr Blackburn have always been very compassionate in the way they cared for our pets. At one point we took one of our cats to another vet to be spayed and it did not go well. We took her to Dr Hegi and he took care of her. I do believe the Dr. Hegi is the reason that she is still alive. In the past me and my family have always been very pleased with the whole staff at the Animal Care Clinic. I am sorry to say that our past two visits have not lived up to our past experience. At one point my daughter took two very young kittens who had very serious health issues and were suffering horribly. We decided that it would be the loving thing to have them go to sleep and not wake up. They were suffering so very much. To Be honest, yes it was close to closing time and I am sure they wanted to go home. Making this decision broke our hearts and so we took them to the Animal Care Clinic. The front staff was very rude and for the most part did not want to help us help these two poor suffering kittens. This really disappoints me because they had always provided very loving care of our pets. I am not sure what has changed in this office but something has changed. Me and family will not be taking our beloved pets to the Animal Care Clinic any more. We are in the process of looking for another vet to care for our pets. If this review gets to the Animal Care Clinic I would be more than happen to discuss this with them and update this review after that discussion.

I adopted a stray dog after she went unclaimed for a few weeks. I brought her here for a check up and told the vet that I had removed a few ticks from her, and that she had a very, very small appetite. I learned that she was pregnant, so they couldnt give her any vaccines, and that her lack of appetite was just a symptom of pregnancy and nothing to worry about. They tried to coerce me into bringing her back to have the puppies aborted, and said that I would need to do it within the next day or two because of how far along she was. They told me that it would be better to abort them now than to put them down later, insisting that I would not be able to find good home for any of the pups once they were old enough to separate from their mother. They then clipped her nails and sent me along my way with a prescription gel for her ear infection. My beautiful dog just had her litter of puppies, and I took her to a different vet to get her looked over. I found out that she not only has tapeworms, but TWO strains of tick fever and was in critical condition. With the care of my new vet, she is well on her way to healing, but because of the medicines we have to give her, I have to bottle feed her puppies as much as possible, and they may also be sick. Had I not seen a new vet, I would likely have lost not only my wonderful dog, but her entire litter of puppies because the staff at Animal Care Clinic didnt check her over thoroughly.

Dr. Hagi was great. He answered many question about my dogs, and help patch them up after they got into a minor scuffle over some food. He gave me advice on how to avoid future problems, and some reading material on the subject. He was very gentle with both dogs, and was knowledgeable about their breeds. The staff was also wonderful, and helped me out. The dogs are now completely vaccinated and have some antibiotics. The older dog was on Duramaxx, an anti-inflammatory, he is 12 year old husky, and now he is getting around much better, and is able to go for longer walks without pain, or stumbling. Dr. Hagi checked both dogs top to bottom, and answered every question. He is definitely a professional, and I would recommend him to anyone.

I called to setup an appointment today, for the soonest they can see my Yorkshire terrier. He hurt his leg, so when I explained this to the receptionist she gave me availability for Monday and Tuesday. Availability for shots, and when i had to correct her that this was regarding my dog hurting his leg she provided another number to a different clinic. Ive been to this clinic before to have the dog neutered and didnt have that level of unprofessionalism. Will not be reaching out to them again.

When my little 14 yr old shih-tzu died this year, we received a very nice handwritten sympathy card from Dr. Hegi. He had done extensive eye surgery and other treatment on her over the past 3 years and is always so generous with his time and compassion. We take our new dog there, and both our sons take their dogs to him. He and his entire staff are wonderful.

Excellent services and staff. Dr Hegi has always taken care our dogs for many years. Wonderful, kind and very caring Vet. I so appreciate all they did for Holly. Donna your the best always. The Receptionists, assistant to Dr Hegi and Dr Blackburn are all so caring to our animals. Couldnt ask for anyone better. God bless all of you. Thank you Shirley

Each time Ive taken my pets there. They are met with the most loving, caring staff and Dr ever! Dr. Hegi and his staff know how to handle their 4-legging clients, and even the parents! I would recommend this clinic to just about anyone who is looking for a vet clinic that makes their pets feel at home!

My experience has always been a good one when I visit this establishment. We recently had our dog spayed and all went well. My only issue was the amount I paid to get her spayed. According to others I paid way to much to get my 7lbs dog fixed. But other then that everything was great.

Found a stray dog not too long ago... they took her as a walk-in and gave her a check up and got her up to date on shots. Very nice doctor and office staff, didnt try to sell me anything extra. We decided to keep the stray and Im thinking of switching all our pets over to this office.

I have 3 dogs that I have been taking to Dr. Hegi for 6 years and he is always very thorough with my dogs. Im that person who treats her pets like kids, and Dr. Hegi understands that without taking advantage. The staff is also VERY nice and accomodating.

The two vets that run this place are very friendly with decades of experience. They take the time to talk to you and explain any problems. The prices are also very reasonable with most of my visits under $100 with shots and medicine.

I took my 8 month old puppy there today and the staff were very nice! I love how the vet explained everything to me before he allowed me to choose the medicine I wanted for my puppy. I would recommend this place to anyone!

The front desk receptionists are kind and knowledgeable. My cat was treated well. The veterinarians are great too. Its close to my home so thats why I went to this location, plus they are not super pricey.
