WOW!!! Dr. Brandon Landry took excellent care of us late Friday evening this weekend. We were down from Colorado Springs camping at Pueblo Res when our Schnauzers mild paw wound went from "hmm we better keep an eye on it" to "yikes we need to get him medical care right now." We googled the closest vet office and found Dr. Landry. It was 4:45 pm and they were closing at 5:30. They told us they would help us despite the fact that it would take us time to get there. We didnt get there until 5:15, but they were friendly and kind and happy to help Toby with his injury. Toby needed stitches which of course requires some sedation and Dr. Landry and his staff stayed late and worked on Toby until 6:30 caring for him. We were so worried about Toby, but they took wonderful care of him and did an excellent job. It is very obvious that Dr. Landry is a veterinarian because he truly cares about animals. You never know what type of care you might get outside of your regular vets office, but again WOW! What was initially a stressful experience had a great outcome. We were able to successfully return to our camping trip and Toby is recovering well. Thank you Dr. Landry and staff for being professional, caring, and having fantastic customer service!!!! If we lived in Pueblo, we would absolutely choose you guys for veterinary care for our two cats and two dogs. Thank you!

The actions of Veterinary Hospital Associates of Pueblo were reprehensible!! After finding a dog in the mountains that was emaciated, dehydrated, cold, wet, and could hardly walk, due to the fact that its legs were so matted with feces, the decision was made to rescue the dog, and then take it to a no-kill shelter the next day. We took her home, cleaned her up, fed her, and gave her a clean, warm place to sleep. After spending time with the dog, we made the decision to keep her. It was obvious that its owner had not taken care of her. We made an appointment with this office to have the dog checked out, etc. When we got to the office, the reception area staff was shocked to see the condition of the dog, and even commented. We were escorted to a room. One of the vets recognized the dog, and took her. They said that the owner had spent a lot of money in their office over the years. I certainly understand that the owner has rights, but actions should have been taken to protect the dog from further abuse. The actions of the staff is a travesty!! This sweet, loving dog deserves a better life than it has had. It is especially disheartening because she is deaf and has other health issues. After this experience with Veterinary Hospital Associates, I would urge people seek other options of animal care.

Our 5 yr old Golden Retriever was critically ill with a uterine infection and became septic, I had gone to another facility that was very rude because I had interrupted their lunch break, which upset me to no end. I had my husband call Veterinary Hospital Associates as I was on route, they took all our information immediately. When I arrived Dr. Brandon Landry and a staff member greeted me at my car with great concern for my fur baby and great empathy for me. They put her on a stretcher and took her in immediately, at the same time staff taking me aside to help me calm down as well. Our Jazz was very very sick and Doc was straight up and honest on her condition, which was very critical and the honesty was greatly appreciated. So he went to work on getting her better! I cant thank Dr. Brandon Landry and ALL his staff for saving my fur baby, we were contacted after emergency surgery and everyday for the 4 days she was in their care, given a daily progress report, we were also able to visit on our schedules, which was also greatly appreciated. I will be taking my other fur babies there going forward. I highly recommend Veterinary Hospital Associates, the whole building is full of wonderful people who care about the animals and their humans! GREAT JOB!!!

These are the friendliest staff and vets I have encountered. Dr. Busby listens to my concerns and takes my alternative treatment suggestions seriously while never disrespecting my opinion, and we compromise on a treatment that is best for my dog. I am an herbalist who has lost companions/had companions injured due to negligence and the pet food recalls of 2007. Needless to say, I was hesitant and nervous finding a vet in a new city when Ive never really had a dog before. The staff treated my companion and myself with the utmost respect and were understanding about me not wanting my dog out of my sight. These people take the time to explain what is going on instead of getting condescending and expecting me to blindly trust what is being said, which is an issue many of us can relate to when choosing doctors for our own health care. 5 stars well deserved.

The doctors and staff at Veterinary Associates are outstanding. They are some of the most compassionate and caring people I have ever met. I had to have my cat put down recently and, while it was a very difficult experience for me, Dr. Caroline made the journey much, much easier than it would have been otherwise. She was forthcoming with all the information I needed, and did not try to steer me in any way. She merely presented the facts and allowed me to make my own decisions without any pressure, but she also offered guidance where it was needed. When the time came to make the hard decisions, she was very supportive and helpful, patiently answering my endless list of questions. I would unequivocally recommend Veterinary Associates for their professionalism and compassion to anyone who’s pet is facing end-of-life issues.

My family and I have been taking our pets to Veterinary Associates for over twenty years — they’ve overseen the care of many of our animals from infancy to old age. Nikki, our terrier mix, was seventeen years old when she died of cancer, and our cat, Kiwi, eighteen and in precarious health, is alive today due to the care and patience of Dr. Sarah Bridgmon. I feel that the quality of their medical care plays a significant role in the longevity and general health of all of our pets. Over the course of the decades, Veterinary Associates has responded to multiple emergency situations and my family has never been treated with anything other than courtesy and respect. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone concerned with the well-being of animals.

Dr. Brandon Landry rocks! My best friend ripped her dew claw, almost completely off on New Years Eve. I had almost zero luck locating a Vet open but, we were in luck. We found Veterinary Hospital Associates. Dr. Landry helped us out. The billing was not at an emergency rate, which he very well could have charged. Awesome. Dr. Landrys "bedside manor" is also second to none! On a subsequent visit, he had the unenviable position of relaying test results that my 10 yr old best friend has cancer. While the news SUCKED, he told me the results in a way a could digest and understand. The news was delivered in a way only a person that truly cares could deliver. Bottom line: Great Vet.
