Dr. Taylor is the best with my fur babies! I was raised on a farm and we had an "old school" type of vet for or animals and nowadays that type of vet is hard to come by. But I found that perfect type in Dr. Taylor! Hes not in it to rake in money. He wont treat your animals with immunizations that they dont actually need or medicate them for something that a few simple, home cooked chicken & rice mixture dinners money easily fix for next to nothing cost wise. Hes very informative and takes the time to explain exactly what is going on with your pet in lamen terms and will take the time to answer any questions you have. I can 100% trust his advice/recommendations and treatment of both my dogs no questions asked! I know if he says one or both of my fur babies need an x-ray, vaccination, surgical procedure, medication etc that they absolutely need it. I really like that in the event your animal needs a costly procedure he does have payment options and credit options. His entire staff is very pleasant to deal with and have always been helpful. I just cant say enough good things about this clinic! I would highly recommend giving them a try if youre in the market for a new veterinarian! You wont be disappointed!

My friend took her 5 month old kitten to him for breathing issues. He did only 1 view on the X-RAYS. He told her he was "stumped ". And put him on a couple meds. He wasnt getting better. He charged $200. Wouldnt let her make payments. Took him to my Vet today where they ruled out Leukemia first. Trying to keep costs down. Came back negative. They did 2 views on the X-RAYS and INSTANTLY knew it was Pneumonia!!! Hes and VERY NICE Doctor!!! Explains things well!!!! I just dont see HOW he missed it!!!! I also didnt like how his staff treated a lady whos dog was brought in as an EMERGENCY!!! After they got the dog stabilized in another room they came and told her she could leave. She asked to see him before she left. She said "no". That someone would call with an update. I heard the conversation. I just think there is better!!! And DEFINITELY worse!!! Form your own opinion!!! I REALLY was IMPRESSED the first time I met him!!!! Im SURE he has done lots of good!!!! Several of her friends and her dont know how he missed Pneumonia!!!!

They do get busy so you may need to plan a little and advance but oh my goodness so nice so knowledgeable they got me in and out in 20 min. I came in to get my dogs teeth checked out I have never had his teeth cleaned and I was concerned because he was four years old and had some tartar buildup they are hands-down the most affordable vet in Lubbock my appointment would have cost only $30 however since I plan to get his teeth cleaned they waved todays fee and will only charge me the cost of his basic cleaning which is $125 and IF He needs a tooth pulled the most expensive tooth that would need to be pulled would be $25 or less per tooth every other place I called told me teeth cleaning was a minimum of $300 and if teeth need to be polled he could go from $400-$500

Was not fond of Dr. Taylor at all. I was a bit hesitant on giving my puppy shots that “would burn a lot,” (horrible experiences with previous shots & they were for vomiting when the issue was diarrhea), and he came in the room and flipped. He became very sarcastic saying screw the shots, he would just send me home with pills bc those didn’t burn. It was so rude and unnecessary. I later found out I was overcharged $30, which I understand must have been an honest mistake, but I cant imagine if I wouldn’t have called to question my invoice. Followed the orders on the medication; it’s been a full week and my pup has yet to fully recover. We will not be back.

Dr. Taylor is the most compassionate and skilled vet/surgeon I have encountered in my life! (Im 61). We were told by another vet that a large tumor could not be removed and were thus dealing with the potential loss of our beagle who we loved dearly. Dr. Taylor assessed the situation and informed that surgery was possible, but not without risk. We gave the green light and the surgery was a total success - 45 stiches later. Sally (now 13) is acting like a puppy again and we are so grateful for bringing her to Dr. Taylor. He truly is an incredible vet and surgeon. Charles Moster, Esq.

Dr. Taylor and his staff are the best Ive ever been to. They truly make your pet a priority. Dr. Taylor gives you the facts about the situation and never tries to pressure you into making a decision, especially if it involves significant cost. We take our dogs and cats here and wont go anywhere else. If youre looking for an honest vet that is concerned much more about you and your pet than profit, 82nd street Vet clinic is the place to go.

This is truly the most compassionate vet. i have ever dealt with,,He is honest doesnt pull any punches and sooo kind ,,his staff is excellent & are wonderful and are as empathetic as he is ,,I recommend this place and their prices are very ,very reasonable!! I rarely write reviews but I wanted to thank Dr. Taylor and his staff for making an extremely difficult situation easier to deal with,,Thank you guys your great!!

This is the best vet clinic in town! Dr. Taylor is kind, attentive, and knowledgeable! His staff is friendly and professional! They have always been so good with our pets..even saving our little adopted chihuahua from a case of heart worms! And best of all....they have very reasonable prices! I wouldnt take my babies anywhere else!!

I had one dog put down, and three cats spayed. The vet is professional, their record keeping is excellent, and the doctor and staff are sympathetic. My mother was upset when her dog had to be put down, but the staff was nice and kind to her. I will certainly use this vet again.

I really like Dr. Taylor. He came in the room and put hands on my dog when he was injured. Took xrays and showed me that there were no fractures in his leg. His price was very reasonable. You wont pay for things you dont have to have and he doesnt pad his bills.

Dr. Tyler has no idea not to pick up puppies. He picked mine up by the neck and suspended in mid air. Hes an elder Dr which I wouldve thought would know how to handle puppies far by now. Very disappointed. Wouldnt trust him with my animals again. Ever.

Brought in my new kitten for a neuter and shots. The vet was amazing, and the staff very welcoming. Monster never knew anything had happened. I will be bringing my other animals back. I would definitely recommend.
