recently took my 11yr cat to Vet Care and outside and inside this place is top notch without a doubt. But be prepared to pay to keep them in business. My Cat was perfectly healthy for 11years an inside cat, only fed dry food and my only crime was I did not believe in vacinations since he was not exposed to outside environments. However, He one day stopped eating and having bowel movements and so I had to break down and take him. Of coarse the number one important thing when you bring in a sick cat is to make sure before the Vet will even look at him is that he is given all of his shots. Okay done. Oh and by the way no temperature so I was told he was not very sick. Dont Worry, Right? $127 later...I never met the Dr. I never got an answer to what was wrong with him and then they had the nerve to call a week later and see if I again wanted to bring him in to get blood work done which would be $152 on top of a $37+ visit (they would give me a break on the reg $47 visit) but i would again have to drop him off and they would have to charge me another Day Care Fee of $27.....Well I did take him to another vet because he just was not getting better, they ran blood work, (found nothing) and it was too late. He is now passed away and all because I started out with a Vet Hospital that looked really nice on the outside????? But he was up to date on his Shots!!!!

Dr.Gibbs & his staff especially Emily are the most caring & compassionate people Ive met in a long time! Yesterday I took my big 8 year old XXL BULLY to get neutered. I was scared to leave him because hes never been away from my family or I overnight. Emily (the receptionist) reassured me that he was going to be fine, it was ok to cry & I can call to check on him at 4:30pm. When I called at 4:30pm I talked to a tech(forgot his name)who explained everything to me during surgery & recovery. He answered all my questions with great customer service! That made it a lot easier to sleep at night knowing he was in good hands. I then called this morning(5/24/17) at 7:30am & my furbaby was doing great as nothing happened! 10:30am I went & picked my big boy up. Dr.Gibbs explained aftercare treatment to me using examples to help understand more. I finally found my fur baby a new vet that I can trust with compassionate care!!!! I highly recommend to everyone.

At first I thought this place was great. Charges were a bit much, but the staff at the desk are very friendly and the place is clean. My dog turned lethargic after taking her there for conjunctivitis. Took her back less than 40 hours later and they did blood work. I was asked if I wanted her on fluids. I said yes...she was obviously dehydrated. After fluids they said they would call that afternoon about the results. Dr. Gibbs said not to worry, she was not in any crisis. My dog died that afternoon by 4pm. When I called there was no "sorry for your loss". No blood work results either until Monday when I called to say I spent $200 for the blood work. Then a message was left by Dr. Gibbs. Still no "sorry for your loss". Just confusing "facts" about the results. Anyone got legal advice for me?

Our experience with VET Care Hospital is that Dr. Gibbs is a caring vet who will not only offer your pet great care but he will be honest with you about whether treatment for a pet is realistic or not. We had to put down a cat due to a condition that was not going to get better and only deteriorate our pets quality of life. Further, he diagnosed the issue correctly whereas a local emergency hospital we initially took our cat to (b/c it was after hours) misdiagnosed, mistreated, and advocated to keep our pet so that they could continue their ineffective treatment. In my opinion they preyed upon our desire to make our pet better in the hopes of continuing to hemorrhage money from us. Dr. Gibbs does not operate that way. Further, his staff have been great as well! We have been very pleased.

I found this vet after one of my cats had passed in our home and I *needed* a decently priced cremation. no vet within 30 miles had anything someone living paycheck to paycheck can afford. I was relieved when i called and spoke to their sympathetic staff and found their prices reasonable. Ive since taken in one of my dogs for surgery on her leg which went smoothly and was also priced within reason. I plan to eventually put all of my animals on their monthly health plans to keep everyone healthy and taken care of. Pet insurance is insane and the monthly plans they showed me will actually make it affordable to maintain a regular vet schedule again after 3 years of hard times. I cannot rate this vet high enough. Try them, you will be glad you did.

My dog, Ralph, and my cat, SeaBass, both see Dr. Gibbs. Dr. Gibbs is super thorough when explaining what is going on with your pet. I never leave with any further questions. They are reasonably priced and are not trying to take all your money to keep your pet healthy. The staff here is great. They are super friendly from the first time you call until you leave. I also love that they call to make sure my furbabies are doing ok a few days after you visit. The technicians that work here are super knowledgeable and you can tell they all love my pet (they know my pets names and my dog is always excited to walk in the door). I would recommend Dr. Gibbs and his staff to anyone in the area!

I originally started going to Dr. Gibbs about 16 years ago with my pet hedgehog. He was the only vet in the area that would treat exotic pets. After my positive visit with Tiggy, I started taking the rest of my animals there. Over the years, Dr. Gibbs has treated 5 cats, 1 hedgehog, 1 gerbil, 1 guinea pig and 1 dog. I cannot imagine taking my babies anywhere else. We have been treating my dog for a chronic condition for the past year. I trust Dr. Gibbs opinion on the best way to treat her, and I have a happy, healthy (as much as possible) dog to show for it. :)

I am completely disappointed with how Dr. Gibbs chose to euthanize my favorite dog. My 11 year old deaf, and blind chihuahua had multiple medical problems, and was actually seen by Dr. Gibbs for them. Dr. Gibbs didnt sedate my dog for the procedure, and my husband has never seen a pet have to scream and fight while being put down. So my poor dog was injected once, and when that didnt take Dr. Gibbs had to REDOSE TWO MORE TIMES. This display and lack of care is disturbing beyond words.

Treatment is in line with other Vets. Yes, it can be expensive to keep a pet, but these are my children. Lucy and Molly drag me out of the house to go see the Vet, so I don't believe "the vet doesn't care". I know he does. Boarding can be expensive as well. My dogs were well cared for and in great shape when I came for them. This vet does not sweat the little bumps and bruises that puppies will get. I have never felt uncomfortable taking my girls to VETcare.
