Fantastic service! I cant recommend Visiting Angels of McKinney enough! For a little over 2 years now, weve gone through several different agencies looking for help with my Dad. All of them, for one reason or another, did not work out for us. To make matters more stressful, I live in Austin and switching agencies so often was beginning to take a toll on my wife and kids. We were contemplating moving back to Dallas when I was recommended Visiting Angels. I was skeptical with all that we have gone through and a little jaded with the recommendation, but I was told that they were fantastic and really did everything that they promise. I reluctantly scheduled a meeting and met with Theresa (owner) a few days later. I was expecting the same old empty promises that every other agency had previously promised. But, after a few minutes I was feeling much better about this particular meeting. Theresa is about my age and she explained that she had gone through the same thing with her own father (who also lived out of town) and completely understood all of my issues and concerns. She said that she realized that there was a real need for honest and quality home care and decided to quit her job and start a company that addressed all of the problems and concerns she had, while experiencing her own need for home care of a loved one. Long story short, Visiting Angels has been a godsend. From day 1 they have been fantastic! All of our concerns and worries have been addressed and alleviated. Dad has been happier and in a better mood than he has been in 2 years. Dont get me wrong, he can be grumpy at times, but his care giver James handles him like a pro. I cant begin to say how grateful we are for the professionalism and truly kind care Visiting Angels has provided not only my Dad, but my entire family.

I called Visiting Angels based solely off of a TV ad. My mother was having health problems and her husband had just died. She wasnt safe to be alone all the time. Things got worse and she had a stroke, so after rehab, I called them again and spoke to Theresa. She was compassionate, sensitive to my concerns about cost and sent out two of the best, nicest and competent caregivers to rotate through my house. Mom fell in love with them as part of her family. When things got worse yet, and we decided she could no longer live at home, we flew her out to an assisted living arrangements in California, and one of the women that had cared for her so well here flew out with her and my sister, which made the trip easier for the sister and less stressful for my mother. I highly recommend Theresa and her team to anyone in a situation similar to mine.

The Visiting Angels office in McKinney has been assisting my family in caring for my grandmother with Alzheimer’s for a couple years now. They assisted her while she lived in her home and now that we have moved her to an assisted living facility they continue to assist with her care. It has really taken a lot of stress off of my mom who has been her primary caregiver for many years. I can’t say enough about this company. Their caregivers are top notch and the office staff is very kind and accommodating. I have been impressed on every level and would recommend them to anyone.

A year ago I hired Visiting Angels of McKinney to help out with my 92 year old grandmother, I was apprehensive at first but apprehension quickly turned to joy and relief. Our caregiver has become part of the family and truly loves my grandmother. The benefit of having someone there to help her out has been invaluable and the happiness our caregiver brings to my grandmother is immeasurable. I highly recommend visiting angels, the whole company cares about the families they help.

They helped out my Ex Mother in law, whom I am still close with. They helped her stay in her apartment an extra two years. She loved them, and they her. They still go visit her in her skilled nursing facility.
