I loved our pediatrician at Baylor. Right up until my son was born prematurely showing early signs of a sensory disorder. I decided to research vaccines, and even though I am not convinced of the link, decided it was in the best interest of my son for me to delay and spread out his vaccines. We went in for a check up and my regular ped(Dr. Sonnen) was out for the day so we saw Dr. Bala. Luke was suspected to have torticollis and I was reffered to ECI. Having dealt with ECI with my first child, I opted to see a private therapist at my own expense. The day I arrived at the therapist office I was informed that the Rx to treat my son was never sent. When I called Baylor I was informed that until my son was given a well baby check up they would not write the Rx and they refused to give my son the check up because I was delaying the vaccinations! Had I been told up front that they were going to do this (remember my doctor had told me that I quite urgently needed to have my son looked at), I would have found another doctor then. Instead, I sat in a therapists office at $22.00 every 15 min for 2 hours only to be told he couldnt be treated. I was also very rudely told that I was reffered to ECI not to this therapist, as if I had no choice as to where my son was treated! Needless to say I have left that practice and will not return.

This office is totally unprofessional. Dec. 2017: Dr. Kampass staff lost a sample that was supposed to go to the lab and I had to have the test redone. Another time, I showed up early, before they opened, but, I had the first appointment of the day. The woman at the front desk looked right at me while I was standing in the freezing cold outside the door, turned her computer on and walked away. June 2017: I called my prescription in probably a week ago. I went to pick it up last night (June 22, 2017). The pharmacy didnt have the approval. I called twice this morning (June 23, 2017). I didnt receive a return call until 2:00 p.m. Yolanda with Dr. Kampass office said that she called it in. I went to the pharmacy on my lunch break. No prescription. I called Dr. Kampass office several times and, as I was coming back from the pharmacy, I was told that Yolanda had just sent it electronically and called it in by phone and it should be there now. I am back at work and I am running late from lunch by more than 20 minutes at that!! I have to drive all the way back to my pharmacy after work to pick up my last prescription. Baylor Mesquite, you are a disappointment, an epic failure. I never had problems like this when Dr. Kampas was with Medical City.

The staff that answers the phone to make appointments are extremely rude. You ask them a question and they act like youve asked them to empty their bank accounts for you. I called to make an appointment today and the "lady" was so condescending that I hung up the phone with a vow to find another physician. Whenever I go, Im still waiting about 45 min after my appointment time even though I arrive early. Today was just the last straw.

Dont see Dr.Kakarr shes never on time, not friendly at all. Her staff of nurses are always late. I always have an appointment and still it takes then 45 minutes to see me and when they finally see me they are not prepare. Fed up with them, not professional at all. No consideration no care for their patients. Dont go to Dr.Kakarr nor her nurses.

Im actually looking into finding a new doctors office to go to. Dr Kakkar is my doctor. The best nurse there is Tawanna. On many occasions Ive waited over an hour to be seen. I started getting to my appointments 30 minutes early so I wouldnt have to wait so long... now the front desk ladies make comments like, "you know youre here early right?"

Dr. Tucker has been our PCP for over 20 years . She and her staff are like family to us. Dr. Tucker keeps in close contact with all of my specialists which isnt an easy task. She does what she says shell do when she says shell do it. I cant say enough about this wonderful doctor!

We love taking our baby to see Dr. Lai! She listens to us and gives us plenty of opportunity to ask as many questions as we can. We would definitely recommend her!

I was treated with urgency at the center. Very friendly staff and very prompt in what they do best. I would refer all friends and family to this location.
