I used primacare for years. Reasonably priced if you pay cash. Everything was fine UNTIL they sold out to NEXTCARE. First of all they no longer do ant lab work in house, everything is sent out to Quest diagnostics. (which means you wait). Oh, and did I mention you will GET BILLED SEPERATELY for those test? It is NOT part of the initial payment you pay like it used to be. DO NOT get suckered into the DISCOUNT program they push, it DOES NOT COVER any outside labwork which is 95% of everything they do. I was not told this either. So the bottom line is I payed $99 to get $25 off my $140 ($110+$99=$209) visit and still had to pay $157 for the labwork to an outside source. ($209=$157=$366). It didnt get any better. They used to call me in a few days to see if everything is OK but now that stopped too. I was expecting to here the results of my labwork (which I paid full price for). No call, Nothing. I TRIED to call them to discover there is no direct line to the mesquite (or any other) location anymore. Its all handled by a call center now. Took me 30 minutes of transfers and holding to finally get somebody AT THE LOCATION which is where my results were, who told me (rather sarcastically) "Well, if you didnt from us, then nothings wrong.". I expect a little more respect than that. Bottom line is I could have gone to a REAL emergency room and it would have been FASTER and CHEAPER.

I had gone to PrimaCare for abdominal pain. After two hours of waiting to see the doctor, I was given an abdominal exam, blood work and gave a urine sample. The doctors diagnosis, because of high white blood cells, there was an infection and it was possible the pain was from something I ate. I was given antibiotics and pain killers. She said if the pain persist the next day, go to the ER for a CT scan. The pain killers dulled the pain but it moved to my lower right side. I went to the ER and within an hour was in for a CT scan, their diagnosis, appendicitis. So if you ever have any abdominal pain, if you can, go straight to the ER!

Compared with other clinics that Ive been to, this one is excellent! The staff (reception, nursing and physician) were all very professional and courteous. I was able to use their call-ahead feature and had to wait no longer than 5 minutes to get to a room and no more than 10 minutes to see the doctor. I had a UTI which is not very difficult to diagnose, but they asked pertinent questions, did a relevant exam with lab work, and sent off for a culture in case the original antibiotic that they prescribed would not fight the specific bacteria. I was very impressed and will go to them again the next time I have a need.

I always go to prima care because I get in fast but this last week Ive had to go back and forth because of the doctors giving me the wrong medication. My eye has been red for two weeks now and hasnt gotten better because of the wrong medicine a doctor keeps giving me. There is only one doctor there who gives me the medicine and is actually right and sadly I dont know her name. The staff there is nice but making us wait 1 whole hour in the room when the waiting room was empty and all other rooms were open is ridiculous. I did not have a good experience. If youre having eye troubles go to an optometrist.

Worst experience in my life took my toddler here the doctor misdiagnosed my child he even gave him a medicine that was not going to help him i had took him to see his doctor the 2nd day because his condition had got worst when his doctor told me take him straight to childrens hospital because what he had was really bad omg it was scary because everything couldve been avoid if the doctor had did his job right i will never take my son there or advice anyone to go there it shame they not just misdiagnosed my but traumatised him this worst thing mother go thru not everything see or hear is true

Great experience!! I used the online check in, after 2 hours I was called in. My 2 year old had a painful bite on her bottom, so sitting long would have been awful for her. We were only waiting about 10 minites, they were able to get us taken care of in about 30 minutes. She was already feeling much better before we left. I am so grateful for this place! The pain she was having to the happiness and complete change after leaving made me feel so much better. A knowledgeable, cheerful, kind staff deserve my thanks!!! Thanks you!!

Your advertised price of $49.99 is false advertising. Upon entering the clinic, I was told that, since I had insurance it would be $150 or cash pay of $250 or I could purchase a 3 month membership. Really, this isnt a gym, I will not be visiting daily or monthly. This is the first time I have needed care in 5 years. This is a rip-off. Needless to say, I left without seeking care, because no telling what other charges you would try to tack onto the bill.

Great visit here. Dr. Dott was supper informative and clear about my diagnoses and treatment plan. I received a shot to help and the pain went away in less than 2 hrs. The two nurses that triaged me and discharged me were supper friendly and i did not feel rushed! Also the lady at check in was very prompt and polite! Great visit! Wait time was pretty good considering the clinic was packed when i arrived! Thanks again!

I definitely recommend Prima Care Mesquite. Ive had nothing but great experiences here. there right on with it and VERY professional. My fav is Nurse Nicole ! she is so patient especially with me I be all over the place lol. but if you cant find the right clinic Prima Care is definitely where you should go‼️ love this place . will be back in the next 3 months for my check up

Thank you again PrimaCare Mesquite. I came in thinking I had Strep or even possibly the flu. Thankfully it was neither just a bad case of seasonal allergies that turned into a terrible sinus infection. I will take the Doctors advice and see an allergist to help get these symptoms under control! Thank you again to my life savors!! Too bad you cannot be a Primary doctor.

Waited 45 min in waiting room. 1 hour back in room to see doc. Doc came in for 2 minutes and did a step and flu test. Waited another 30 for tests. Waited about 10 minutes to be dismissed. Everyone was nice, but the wait was ridiculous. Just wait till 9am when 1st Class Urgent Care opens and go there. Ive learned my lesson. Ive never seen 3+ hours there.

I took all 4 of my children and each was treated great. I did not use the call ahead service but wait time was not long considering its flu season and they were busy. My wait was under two hours and well worth it. I love Dr Fsmilusi. Shes great. The nursing staff are very nice as well. I will continue to come here. Yall rock Mesquite Primacare!!!
