I never write reviews, but I feel this is important. I love the doctor my son sees at the county line location, but the staff is horrible. Im not sure how some of them passed their CMA certifications. The wait time is aweful. I request off of work for 2 hours to ensure plenty of time to return and had to take an extra 2 hours. We were at the doctors office for 3 hours. The visit is always short and sweet and the doctor answers any and all questions or concerns I have, but its just not worth it any more. My toddler was ordered a medication for an infection and the doctor told me it was to be given to him every 4 hours. We picked up the medication and I noticed it said every 8 hours. Which means it would interfere with his sleep. I have no issue doing that if its absolutely what he needs, but the doctor described everything to me on how to give the medication so I was sure this was an error. I called the infamous number for centro med to get someone at a call center. I was told it will be 24 to 48 hours before I would get a call back. Never mind that my sons doctor said he needed to start this medication right away. There is apparently NO way to call the actual locations you go to. I was told by the lady at the call center who constantly spoke over me that I should just go in to the location and talk to them. I need all of my work hours for bills and do not have a way to transport in the middle of the day. It should not be this difficult to find out if the medicine ordered was correct or not. My son will be switching to a doctor not associated with centro med, which is unfortunate because my sons doctor is awesome. This company needs to upgrade their systems of communication, scheduling, and attitudes. Patients should be able to speak to their doctors nurses without any issues, especially if it is an important matter like this.

Horrible front desk staff.... HORRIBLE! Being 6 months pregnant and still not having a single sonogram, my doctor told the nurse to order in equipment for a sonogram ASAP. The nurse scheduled it for 2 weeks later so my doctor talked to her and I was told on a Tuesday to come back tomorrow, being Wednesday. So Wednesday morning, the same nurse from the day before tells me I was mistaken and to come back tomorrow. It is now Thursday morning, I just left there and yet again, the same exact lady tells me I was mistaken and to come back tomorrow. She then offered to print out the appointment date for me and I told her I still had the original at home and would go off of that one. As I walk out the door, she tells me that if I do not come get this new print-out, that she was going to cancel my appointment. So I go get the paper, which btw, does NOT match the original so she changed the date to cover her own tracks, and I am going back to get my sonogram which I have been waiting so very patiently for 6 months now, and tell Dr Duncan that she was fantastic but her desk help SUCKS so I will be going somewhere else. Being pregnant, this has put unnecessary stress and heartache on myself, my partner, and my baby. This is our first pregnancy which is hard enough. Also working nights, we have had to stay up all night for work, then go to the "tomorrow" appointments on no sleep. We dont live in New Braunfels so wasted gas. Plus I am so far behind in my online schooling now because the baby has been my number 1 priority and all my time has been wasted thanks to lousy staff. Not to mention I have missed out on a funeral and other family events trying to make all these "tomorrow" trips for the last week.

just read bad reviews.... but my kids have been seeing Dr.koo for 2 years already , the staff has Never changed so my kids are familiar with staff the kids love the staff , when we first started going the kids were given bed time books to encourage reading from the facility (new) my four year old daughter who troubled with a skin infection for 2 years on her face she was already trying to cover it up with foundation . it was bad aloth the RX that the Dr prescribed her was bitter and took 2 months to it worked like a charm my daughter is now bump free and has her confidence back. my 2 year old just loves Dr. koo and the staff and he listens because Dr. koo speaks to the kids directly instead of telling me which i love . if my 2 year old is acting up he advises him "to listen to mommy" i read many bad reviews but ive been very consistent with this clinic and i would not change my kids Dr nor clinic for another . my kids love Dr. koo and the staff . thank you staff and Dr. koo at centro med on county line

I think its funny my wife called this clinic while i was sitting in the waiting room with my daughter, and it took 3 times of her calling for someone to finally answer the phone, and im sitting there waiting them sit around at the front desk listening to the phones ring and not answer them, lazy people, no wonder people that come in are rude. and i find it funny you have an appointment and STILL wait, if the front desk got off there butts and checked you in when you got there it wouldnt be such a long wait, once your back in the room waiting for the dr, not a problem not a long wait, its all about the front desk... THEY SUCK.

Dr Koo is a great doc however the staff there isnt as pleasant. I also hate that I cant call and actually get to speak to the office I go to. They always route me through SA and its terrible! Also, I find it difficult to not be able to get an appt on short notice. I understand that it can be demanding but there are clinics who can sometimes get you in THAT day. Im a single parent so taking off work sometimes isnt optional. Being that my son is having certain medical issues I cant change Drs just yet but hopefully in the near future I can switch to an office whos front desk staff doesnt seem to have an issue helping you!

Never go to this place. I paid $40.00 to sit in a waiting room for four hours. When making the appointment I said I would need x-rays. They told me to come in, failing to mention they do not do x-rays. Basically knowingly stole my money. Could have used the money toward a walk in clinic that could have properly examined me. Also the nurse who saw me was a deeply religious woman who spreads misinformation about birth control pills. She told me that every month I am killing a fetus. Centromed, uneducated staff with a liscence to steal from the uninsured.

Horrible! They literally called me at the time of my appt, which I was already sitting in the parking lot, to tell me that I would have to reschedule because the Dr called in sick... yall really only have ONE Dr there? Wth is wrong with people? at least have the decency to give me at least a 15 min heads up but no... let me drive 30mile one way and be there on time just to turn around and drive 30 miles back home... I would not recommend this place to anyone. A waist of time , money, gas. Not worth the headache
