They were fast, pain management was swift (Husband-kidney stone), they completed testing that we can take to our follow up. Very professional and friendly. Im an RN and can be overly critical of other health care professionals (hey, its what we do). I am so glad they are in LaVernia and I would let them treat me in a heart beat. Special Thanks to Christy RN, Art ER tech, Monica CT tech. I dont remember the receptionists name but she knew her stuff, about my insurance, deductible, copays etc. Because of her when we went in I wasnt stressed about paying, just focused on my husband and when we left there I didnt have "sticker shock" because I already knew what to expect. And special thanks to Dr. Gale Gregory, great bedside manner, got my husband taken care of quickly, knew her stuff and actually took time with us. we couldnt be happier.

The nurse, Jan was fantastic. The doctor was good too. The reason I only gave 3 stars is because of the front desk. Ive taken my daughter to the clinic twice since November and both times, the person at the front desk has not been able to get my insurance info correct. Both times they have insisted that I owe $200 plus and insist I pay before I leave. I cant stick around and argue because I have a sick child so I have to go home, call my insurance company, call the Emergency Clinic to let them know how much I shouldve been charged, wait for a call back, and then give my card info over the phone so they can refund me what I over paid. What bothers me the most is that I tell them in person that my Emergency copay is under $100 and they look at me like Im stupid. For this reason, I only go here if I absolutely have to!!

I visited the Emergency LV Clinic several times. Each time has been a pleasant experience. The front desk staff is friendly and professional. The wait is not long....understood that times and happenings at the time determine the wait atmosphere. Either way, each time Ive had the occasion of visiting the clinic Ive been impressed. Tami Hoag gives you the time of day, listens to whats going on, checks the normal chest sounds, BP readings, etc. before she describes the determined plan. I feel, and always have, that if she, and/or ANY medical professional I see at the clinic, without doubt will seek emergency help if needed at the time, or refer me to specialists if need be. Great care.

Great experience for a Sunday evening. Heather at front desk very welcoming and Informative. Jason the RN, was great with my 15 year old daughter thats afraid of needles. Dr. Grote was full of information for us and didnt sugar coat he told us straight forward. I appreciate that. Definitely would go back with any family member. Had to return on Tuesday afternoon. Tami Rocha was great. Kathy, who had to give my day a shot in the booty was wonderful. My daughter ended up passing out after the shot and Kathy acted quickly to my daughters needs. Nothing but good things to say about this clinic and their staff.

I was seen quickly and the physician was no nonsense and professional. I, cannot , however, give the clinic five stars because this is the third time we have been to this clinic and they have not been able to verify our benefits because the website service they use was "down". Because of this we were required to pay the full charge for services and were told we would be refunded any overage after benefits were verified. We were refunded the next day, but this is an inconvenience, especially to have happened multiple times now. We received excellent medical care. I just wish they would work out the admin kinks.

I was out of town visiting my parents when my 11mo old came down with the flu within a few hours of falling asleep. I called and they said they could see her right away. The entire staff that night was amazing, very considerate and understanding with my kiddo. It was 1 am and with lack of sleep and concern for my little one, Ive forgotten all their names except our main nurse Jaeson. He went above and beyond making sure we got the best care. Everyone there did, and they made a bad night not as bad. Thank you so much! If she ever gets sick while visiting again, we know where to take her!!

I saw Dr Mahood on Sunday night and then Dr Escamilla on Thursday, (sorry, for misspelled names). Both Doctors and every staff member were awesome! We thought I had a bladder infection, turned out to be kidney stones. They made sure I had medication as quickly as possible, all labs & scans were done in house which sped up treatment. When I was released Thursday night & there was a snag in running my debit card, they even worked with me on this. Great patient & customer care at all levels. I will return if needed and will recommend them to family & friends. THANK YOU TEC-LaVernia!!!

First visit to this clinic and i am very impressed. Stopped by on our way to San Antonio to take my hubby to the emergency room. I wanted to check if they were equipped to examine him or would they just triage and say go to the hospital in San Antonio. I was super surprised... they had a Dr., Nurse, technicians, could do x-rays, CTscan, blood work and urinalysis and NO WAIT! This was a very attentive staff and took care of our needs very professionally. I will be recommending them and though I dont want to have a need for an emergency room, I would definitely go there first.

Wonderful care given to me yesterday . I have been several times when my doctor is out of the office or after hours . I am not an easy IV or blood drawn stick but Jan got it right away . Lisa and Dr Gregory were great in explaining everything they were going to do . The CT scanner person was great made me comfortable during the test . They treat the whole family when sons and myself had bronchitis in the past too .

The staff are prompt, courteous, and helpful. Wait time was minimal. Paperwork was more reasonable than usual. You can check-in online so theyre ready for you when you get there. I highly recommend The Emergency Clinic La Vernia to anyone needing medical care. Ive visited other clinics in San Antonio, Floresville, and La Vernia, and this has been my best experience yet. Thank you for coming to this area.

Best staff and doctors I have ever been treated by. I have several cardiac issues, and the doctors here are simply the best at handling the complexities of my disease. If I had to drive into La Vernia from San Antonio to seek care here, I would do so, the care and staff are that good. Highly recommended and very qualified to do the job.

All of the doctors and nurses are super nice! I had to spend their last week, you cant ask for better medical care. Youre not waiting hours to be seen. Id much rather go there than to the hospital ER. You kinda get to know the staff, Ive been there several time and the staff knows me by name!
