I have been seeing Dr. Patel for about 8 years now. I used to live in Cleveland, Ohio and expected to have to shop around for a good eye Doctor. I made an appointment with Dr. Patel when I first moved to New Braunfels and immediately loved his staff and Dr. Patel. He is a great Doctor. He explains everything very detailed and makes sure that I understand. He always spends the time necessary to give a very thorough exam. I recently had cataract surgery done by Dr. Parkhurst who trains doctors all over the country to perform Lasix and other delicate eye surgeries. He is at the top of the list as one of the best Doctors in the country.. Anyway, part of my treatment required Dr. Patel to intensely follow-up on my progress. When I told Dr. Parkhurt that Dr. Patel was my Doctor...Parkhurst was very impressed and had nothing but great things to say about Dr. Patel. I will be a patient of Dr. Patel forever. Also, his staff is great at following up on any potential insurance coverage.

Dr.Patel is an amazing optometrist who knows his stuff. The most important thing this guy provides is friendly cost efficient service. Ive been going to him for years and I no longer consider him "my eye doctor", he is a FRIEND! I recently had a bad eye infection and he took care of me and went above and beyond! Didnt charge me for my last follow up, he was more concerned with making sure I got taken care from start to finish. I highly recommend Dr.Patel and his staff to anyone who is looking for a grade A vision center. Simply Amazing.

I took my daughter to Dr. Patel at his previous location. I felt both he and his staff were very professional and caring. It made my decision easy when I was in need of an eye exam myself. Sure, his new office is a little farther of Android than before, but it was worth the drive. Dr. Patels new office is very nice and much larger. He and his staff are still as professional and caring. The new location next to Eyemart also is extremely convenient. I highly recommend Dr. Patel and his fine staff!

Dr. Patel has been my optometrist since 2006. Obviously that should tell you something. He is extremely honest and very helpful when it comes to your vision. His technology has definitely upgraded with telling you about dry eye and macular degeneration.
