New Dimensions has sent varies providers with NO experience with bedbound patient to provide care. This affects not only us but their employees. They are thrown into patient homes without the proper knowledge, skills, and training.I feel patients insearch of provider services should know about this compay before selecting. Their employee asked to borrow money.I spoke with staff on July 1st and was informed me that this was against their policy and they would find a replacement. Before they found a replacement the employee estranged husband set outside of my house for 2 hrs. I reported the incident on July 15, spoke with Edgard. He said he would look into the matter and find a replacement. They did not find a replacement until July 22. New Dimensions were going to send their new employee to my home to work without meeting the patient or even finding out if the employee could do the work. You as a patient do not get a choice of providers, just what they send you. No training was offered to the new employees. July 26, I called the office and ask who was responsible for telling their employee the status. They than came out to do an orientation on the new employee.I expressed my concerns and dissatisfaction of service to all office staff. The lady they hired has never worked with a bedbound patient. I took the time to train her myself. Another instance, we were given respite care hours for July 9,10,and 11th by the state. After working diligently with the coordinator and New Dimensions, they still dropped the ball. They are refusing to pay the outside provider we hired because they didnt process her application. No one showed up to give her orientation when stated they would. The result, The provider was not paid by New Dimensions and the patient family now we have to pay for services rendered one month later. We were not informed of this until 4 weeks after the lady worked,July 30. I would not recommend this company to any person needing care.NO ONE accepted responsibility for this error OR providing their patients with safe, reliable, skilled employees. This was a learning experience for our family. DO NOT CHOOSE NEW DIMENSIONS AS A PROVIDER SERVICE!!!!

There is nothing more scary to me that not knowing how to handle a parent that needs assistance but wont accept it. Imagine being in that position on a Friday evening. Who do you call for help? What do you do next? How do you get that loved one to accept a stranger in their home? How do you fight the guilt of not being able to do it yourself? It took until Saturday morning to get my mother-in-law to understand there was no other way. We called New Dimensions and they immediately knew how to help us get everything set up. And the ladies they sent out made my mother-in-law so comfortable and they quickly fit in with her demands. And when she wouldnt let them do anything, they didnt just sit, they kept asking her to let them help more. When she passed a few days later, the lady went above and beyond to help us get her ready. Thank you for your help, your care, and your compassion!

Worthless organization. Filed bankruptcy in November, leaving a huge group of employees unpaid and hundreds of elderly and ill needing care in the lurch. Very sad that an organization collecting funds from Medicare and Medicaid could be so poorly mismanaged.
