It became clear to me that Dr. Cowarts office did not care about my personal well being or my soon to be new born son, when they refused to transfer my records to my Doctor when she parted ways from Dr. Cowarts office during my pregnancy and went to Lake Pointe Womens Centre (LPWC). There were 5 requests made for my records to be transferred (4 via fax and 1 via my phone call to them making a verbal request) and all requests went ignored stating they were never received, even after LPWC advised that they had received confirmation the faxes were received and Dr. Cowarts office stated it would take 10-14 business days to transfer them over (This would have put them in my Drs hands after my son had already been born) It was not until I had to threaten Dr. Cowarts office with contact from a liability attorney that my records were sent over to Dr Olsen at Lake Pointe Womens Centre. I was appalled by Dr. Cowarts office and the lack of care and compassion they seemed to have once I chose to follow my OB to her new practice. Dr. Olsen is a wonderful Doctor and stood by my side making me feel like my son and I were the only people who mattered to her during my whole pregnancy, this is something I would suggest Dr. Cowart and his staff learn to do.

I just want to take a second a brag on Dr. Cowart and his staff. They are seriously the friendliest people I have ever met. Im 21 weeks pregnant (as of 12/24/13) and they compliment me and my growing bump every single time Im in there. When one of the nurses saw our sonogram she (very sincerely) said "What a beautiful baby"...Ill have to agree with her on that one. Yesterday, Dr. Cowarts wife was in the office as well... she saw my belly and just walked up to me and gave me the biggest hug ever and said how much she loved my bump. He even thanked me for choosing their group to deliver our sweet little girl because he feels so blessed to be the first person to see and hold the baby. That being said, I realize its their job to make you feel comfortable during your pregnancy, but they seriously go way above and beyond to make pregnancy and parenthood seem like one of the best things on earth (which Ill have to agree with). Especially being a first time mom, my husband and I get so much guidance and advice from them... even when I call the office 3+ times/week sometimes with questions... theyre always happy to answer and dont make me feel like a nuisance! LOVE THIS PLACE!

We have been here twice now for my daughters pregnancy and we will be switching. Hee first visit we waited 50 minutes without a word from them. Second visit now and we have been waiting 50 min and they just took the patients ahead of us. Which they were waiting an hour. So Im sure that means we still have at least 30 more minutes. And still NO WORD from the staff to explain or apologize. Sorry Dr.Conyac we really like you but these wait times and their staff is unacceptable and you will lose more patients. They need to learn how to schedule and communicate with their patients.

Dr. Cowart is the most caring and attentive doctor I have ever had! He and his staff went above and beyond during my pregnancy, delivery and aftercare for my son, Ethan, born on December 9th, 2014. During my hospital stay, both Dr. Cowart AND some of his staff visited me in my hospital room. All the women that work for him were such a joy to me during my pregnancy, and so was Dr. Cowart! Nothing I can say will truly do justice to the care I recieved from them! I wont have another OB until Im forced to by his retirement.

I moved here from CA and needed a good doctor to give hormone replacement care and general gyn. Care. I was highly impressed by Dr. Cowart and his special staff. Everyone made me welcome, tried to make me as comfortable as possible even though they had to spend me to the lab for testing and couldnt draw my blood (my veins are compromised ). They seemed genuinely concerned about me. The Doctor is very caring and compassionate.

Dr Cowart is far the best doctor I have ever met and nothing I can say really does justice to the man: he is extremely intelligent, a compassionate and caring person ,and a truly outstanding doctor. I count myself truly lucky to have found him. And his staff especially his nurse will go the extra mile for you.

This office never got my prescription to the pharmacy after 3 calls. They never got back to me with my lab results after 3 calls. So far theyre patient follow up is incredibly disappointing. I wont be going again.
