I wrote a review shortly after my visit to Dr. Babcock last year but it has been removed (I only noticed that because I had to look up his address for insurance reasons). He was extremely competent and did an excellent job removing a few moles; he is obviously very skilled at what he does. However, his bedside manner left quite a bit to be desired, and he kissed my forehead -- yes, you read that right -- on his way out of the exam room. He went ahead with removing moles without even speaking to me about them first. I stopped him to ask if the procedure would be covered under my office visit copay and he assured me that it was. I received a huge bill anyway. When I called the office to dispute the charge, his office manager was extremely condescending and rude. I have never been treated so unprofessionally in my life. I had to fight to get the charges removed. It was a nightmare. Skilled, definitely. And if you arent paying your own bills, thats probably all that matters.

Looking over these reviews it holds true that the only people willing to comment are those who are not satisfied. Ive been going to Dr. Babcock for 4 years strictly for cosmetic reasons. On one visit he noticed a VERY slight coloration variance on a mole and wanted to check it out- and caught it before it even had a chance to spread. His years of experience and knowledge cant be beat.

Great Dr. He is old and may give some people the wrong opinion, but he sure knows what he is doing. He cut out 2 cancerous mole with a knife. You can Not see where they are, Not the best personality, but good!!
