Three words describe our visit...awful, disrespectful and humiliating...My wife had an appointment at 8am with Dr. Emily Becker. We arrived at 7:55am. We were asked about our insurance and identification (provided, no issue there). First the lobby/waiting area was freezing or just a little above freezing. We were not the only ones to notice other people were also very cold. The receptionists actually were wearing a light jacket. 20mins after my wife was called in. 30mins later my wife texts me that she has been waiting now for 30mins in a paper robe and that she is freezing and the doctor is still not there. I asked the receptionist what was going on and asked her to check where doctor Becker was. She came back and told me that the doctor was with my wife. One hour later after waiting in a freezing room in a paper robe was just too unbearable and we decided to call it quits on the torture. She got dressed and came out to the lobby crying...doctor Becker never showed up. They made us wait close to an hour and a half in a freezing office, made my wife wait in a paper robe for close to an hour while she frooze without explanation only to be told that she was "next" when she inquired when would Dr. Becker be coming. Needless to say it is my belief that this office and Dr. Becker showed high disregard to her patients time and comfort, exhibited a high degree of disrespect to other peoples time and I would venture to say that if this is a reflection of how timely care is to be given I have serious concerns as a patient. As a balancing statement I will say that I would have understood waiting had there been an honest attempt at explaining the tardiness; even if it was that she stopped to get some coffee...that would have been better than no explanation then a lie that she was attending to my wife when she wasnt. My advice for a better experience: take responsibility for the comfort of your patients in your office; I understand that cold temperatures prevent bacterial growth so perhaps a little sign explaining this would help; be honest with your patients they are "patients" because they need your expert and professional care not because they need to be made to be "patient" and wait for you unreasonably. We come to your office with trust, dont break it, build on it and you will have a limitless amount of referrals; do the opposite and your potential will always be diminished.

(FROM DOMINION LOCATION) I went for mild, hormonal acne that doesnt really bother me (but I would like to have completely clear skin someday). The staff was nice, but I met with a random PA or assistant and not the actual doctor. She prescribed some medicine that treats hormonal acne (but also treats high blood pressure). I asked about side effects and they only mention that if you arent hydrated you could get dizzy. The doctor came in for about a minute just to chat, nothing more. A nurse takes my blood pressure and its already low, so she asks the doctor and without even consulting with me, I just hear the doctor to just go ahead and put me on it. I go home later to read more side effects (from people who gave the drug a VERY POSITIVE five star rating) and find that this is a drug I would be dependent on for life and is usually for people with more severe acne. They also failed to mention Id have to get my blood tested every few months. This drug was not something I want AT ALL, so I call the office and ask to speak to the doctor about ANY possible alternatives. I guess the doctor was too busy, so I talk to the receptionist who has no idea who I am and just keeps repeating "its what the doctor thinks are best" and "reviews are often from negative people" (remember- I was looking at five star reviews). She just kept talking over me, never giving me a chance to voice my own concerns or desires for any alternative. While the staff was generally nice, I felt I was just passed from person to person with zero care, and all they cared about was pushing pills on anyone that came in their office. While I understand these are medical professionals, the fact that they didnt care to disclose ALL the side effects is really shady. They want me to make a follow-up appointment in a month, however I will never be returning to their office and will never suggest this establishment to anyone if theyre looking for caring and intelligent help. What a waste of money and gas.

0 stars if I could. Waited for weeks to have my daughter seen by this supposedly high rated Dr. only to sit in the office for OVER an HOUR at which point we left. They tried calling our phone after we left asking where we went (are you kidding me, we were in the room the put us in!) and we tried to call back a dozen times only to get the voicemail. Patients BEWARE. You wont talk to a person, only voicemail and if you get an appointment youll wait weeks and even longer in the waiting room. It is no way acceptable in any way shape or form for this type of unprofessional behavior. Total disrespect. F that.

Dr. Becker is amazing. Was having issues with acne had seen a previous dermatologist and nothing was helping. I saw Dr. Becker and immediately put me on medicines that actually worked. I no longer suffer from acne. I did not give the office 5 stars because the front staff is rude, phone wait time is long and when they finally pick up they hang up on you. I love Dr. Becker so I decided to put up with the front desk staff. I just think if your not happy at work please dont take it out on the patients, your making a great doctor look bad.
