I just moved from Ohio and was looking for a dentist in San Antonio. So the facility is awesome. Nice decor, very clean, and they have tvs in the dentist chair rooms. BUT the hygenist tried to tell me I need expensive fluoride treatment and sealants on my teeth. Um, Im 27 and Ive never had a cavity so no I dont need any of that. The dentist came in after my cleaning .. which was good minus the fact that the hygenist didnt take the time to let me take breaks and rinse my mouth and swallow and I had water dripping down my face .. and he was a totally rude. First he told me so who paid for your braces, well my parents I was 13, can I have their number?, why?, to tell them they got ripped off. Now my bottom teeth shifted very slightly so one tooth is slightly crooked, hardly noticeable, and this was due to the fact I didnt wear my retainer after. He said I need invisalign, I said oh for my bottom row? no top and bottom .. uh yea no my top is straight as can be. He said my teeth will only get worse. Well they havent shifted since right after I got my braces off, so gonna have to raise the BS flag again. He said they would write me up a payment plan, I waited for FOREVER, so I got up and went to the front desk where the doc and receptionist were discussing my payment, pretty sure discussing how to convince me I need invisalign. The receptionist said well it is $4250 but Dr. so and so is a preferred provider so its $3250 .. preferred provider?! No wonder he wants me to buy it. This doc only cares about making money and nothing about your dental health. I have heard great reviews about the other lemon tree facilities so I would go there and not to this one. BEWARE!

I was surprised by the review below and will just assume it’s a person who is just un happy with life in general. I myself had a great visit along with the 2 other friends who referred me. I called my insurance to make sure that my visit would be covered and to check the in or out of network status of this office. I believe EVERYONE should be responsible for their OWN insurance and not blame others. When I visit my MD I always call my insurance to double check. I also believe that if services where given why are YOU shocked you got a bill?? PAY IT!!! It is disturbing the way people behave now a days, blame EVERYONE else, DEMAND thing and expect everything for FREE.. On top of that to feel the need to write nasty reviews. I can see if any or ALL that happened was malicious or misconduct with this person who wrote that review but please, a family member scheduled wrong is hardly a federal offense!! I had a pleasant experience and I wish them luck with future patients.. OH and by the way I thought my insurance was billed out of network too, but its not that they bill out of network MY INSURANCE paid out of network due to the fact that the dentist is new and in process of being placed in the network but MY OUT OF pocket was quoted to me as in the network so my expense didn’t change. So my old dentist retired and I decided to try Lemon Tree at Canyon Golf. Nice office, (LOOKING BACK NOW) staff was very friendly and the Dr was great as well, I was one of those that doubted this office at first, I was in denial when Dr A told me I needed to have a crown to protect a tooth that had a big silver filling, he took x rays and pics and he even showed me, so I went to another dentist who told me the tooth was ok. Fast forward 1 year, I broke the tooth all the way to the root, Talk about major pain on a friday afternoon, I couldnt get anybody to see and I had no choice but to call this Canyon Golf Lemon Tree, DR A SAW ME AT 6PM THAT SAME DAY, GOT ME OUT OF PAIN AND I could only hope he did not remember he had told me 1 year ago to put a crown on the tooth. That said this is my lifetime Dentist. MY KIDS AND I HAVE SINCE GONE BACK TO JOIN MY HUSBAND AT THIS LOCATION AND Never to doubt DR A or his staff again. PEOPLE IT IS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY, IT IS ABOUT THE DENTIST HAVING THE EXPERIENCE TO KNOW WHEN DISASTER IS LOOMING AND TRYING HIS BEST TO EDUCATE HIS PATIENTS AS BEST AS HE COULD WHICH IN MY HUMBLE OPINION IS WAY ABOVE THE AVERAGE DENTIST I KNOW.

I LOVED THIS OFFICE, I dont know what these other reviews are talking about!!! I have been going to this offive on Canyon Golf for 2 years now and everytime I need some work the doctor and staff is very good at explaining WHY I need the work and not just telling me but SHOWING me. They are willing and ready to answer ANY question I have EVER asked. Maybe these previous people with bad review just didnt ask. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this office to ANYONE looking for an office, If you want to know just ask. Now sometime I noticed that they are very busy and cant call me back but I understand that is business. Things happen and people get busy, that is life, but the office is very hard working and I can tell they really care about their patients, when I am up front taking care of a balance or making an appointment I see the way they talk to others and it is very nice and cordual. This office is nice and clean. Serously, go there if you want a good dentist and if you have question ask and they will be answered.

The oddest experience I’ve ever had at a dentist’s office. I needed to find a new dentist because our old dentist no longer took our insurance, these guys were close. I was examined and they told me I’d need $5,500 braces (I’m 34 and have never been told anything of the such) and about $800 in gum work as well as numerous follow up visits for it. I told them that I’d need to talk over those recommendations with my wife and asked if I could just get my teeth cleaned that day. They said something about how it would cost a bit more if I did the gum work at a later visit. I said I understand and asked again if I could just get my teeth cleaned. Frankly, the next part was a bit of a blur but a few minutes later I was at the front desk leaving without having had my teeth cleaned. I’ve been to half a dozen or so dentists in my life due to moving and/or changing jobs/insurance. This was the first time I’ve felt like I was being upsold rather than being taken care of.

Very Unprofessional! After my second visit I never want to come back this office because Dentist is not friendly and customer services is incompetent. Unfriendly Dentist. On my second visit, the dentist told me I have two cavities that need to be filled. I asked him for a clarification about what highest priority task need to be done first. He replied: " Do you want to keep your teeth?" I was very disappointed the way a professional like him to answer to patient in that way. Customer services is bad. No one returned any my calls. I called them to confirm my schedule for cleaning. She said she will call me back a few days before the appointment time for confirmation, but she never called. Another time, I called her to confirm the price for the filling. She asked me to leave her a message because she was very busy. I did and again she never returned my call.
