To me my experience with the doctor was very rude he was kind of a smart ass. My daughter was 8 years old and this was our first time going to an eye doctor. He did not even greet us when he walked into the door. He did the exam like if she was an adult didnt explain what was going on, didnt even explain to me how her vision was he just took the exam and it was done. To me I think you should be friendly especially if its a child not an adult! Especially if this was her first time and didnt know what she was doing he had to correct her a couple of times. I had to ask all the questions otherwise I would have been left not knowing a damn thing and with just with the prescription in my hand. His replies were smart ass remarks. I think next time I will go out of my way to go to a childrens optometrist rather than trying to find one up close.

Been going here since I was in middle school (roughly 10 years now)! I love Dr. Sianghio, shes a great optometrist who really takes time with her patients and wants to make sure they leave satisfied. Her staff is equally caring and kind, especially the ones who do the contact fitting and demo. I really appreciate the low prices here too, Dr. Sianghio has some of the most affordable exam and contact prices Ive seen in the area, and for someone who didnt have insurance for several years it was a blessing to be able to get an eye exam without it costing half my paycheck. Its a very small office so during busy times, yes you may have a little longer of a wait. But isnt that a small price to pay when you know youre going to get good one-on-one time with your Dr instead of being pushed through as fast as possible? I sure think so.

It was very warm in an over crowded waiting area. My appointment was at 1:30, I filled out my paper work at 11:30am, I ran some errands, returned by 1:20 was not seen until 2:00. At this time I asked if I was going to be done in time to pick up my son at 3, the staff’s answer was unknown, so I waited a little longer... I was called to the back at 2:30 thinking an exam should not take longer than 30mins, I waited an additional 45mins in an exam room… I was not finished until after 4pm. And I’m afraid to purchase my prescription glasses because I don’t feel like I got a proper exam. The doctor was so much in a rush I do not have ANY confidence in her decisions or equipment. I feel like I should have left after waiting an hour after my appointment time.

*not a childrens dr* The doctor was Rude, Impatient and made my kid feel like crap. This was his 1st eye doctor visit so he wasnt familiar with the procedures. The doctor got upset because he couldnt read the letters (hello! Here for that reason) kept rushing him saying it isnt that hard. Bottom line, if you do go here please let her know its Not ok to talk to kids that way. We let her know damn well she was out of line! Just a stereotypical ex military jerk. No one deserves to see their kids bullied, and thats what she is. I feel bad I put my kid through that. My kid gives her 2 thousand thumbs down.

My grandson went there for the first time the manager was nice but the eye doctor was rude and very inappropriate, she said, there was no reason for him to go to school without his glasses case he cant see and he just probably run around and get in trouble! You dont say that to a kid are a teenager, you up lift them, not put them down! He remembered exactly what she said the next day! Maybe she needs a new profession, one where she is not around very impressionable young people!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Siaghio is so friendly and caring. She really took the time to listen to my concerns. She was able to quickly assess my needs and provided just what I needed. Excellent service, even though the staff was busy they were always friendly and helpful.

Had a 2 oclock apt and still havent been seen yet and its already going to be 3, they take walk inside but yet if you make an apt you still have to wait forever... Whats the whole point of making an apt?
