I was referred to this clinic when I moved her from my vet in ElPaso whom is also Dr. Crews. Funny thing. I have seen all of the vets and adore them. The compassion Dr. Black had with me and my daughters Cocker I carry with me. Kindness does not do justice to his kindness during a terribly emotional time. Dr Koonson recently treated an elderly neighbors dog for us that we thought was dying. The next day she was On the road to a full recovery. Terrific treatment plan executed and delivered to her 84 yr old best friend. Dr. Crews has always taken great care of my babies including some emergencies. I could tell many stories of folks I have referred to them. The staff is great. Have been purchasing all of my flea and heart worm medications here for years and am always entertained with the staff and their helpers. The best practice in Bell County.

I made an appointment soley to get flea and tick medicine for my dog, when I came in for my appointment as soon as I walked threw the doors it reeked of dog pee and poop. (To the point of it giving me a headache) I went up to the counter, and when I looked down I saw a dried puddle of dog pee on the ground that had not been cleaned up. They had dogs and cats roaming all around in the office. When I was waiting to see the vet the nurse came in and tried to push me into giving my dog shots even though they didnt have his records. I called my old vet, and turns he wont need those shots for another 4-5 months. I walked out of the appointment before I could even see the vet. It was distrusting and very unprofessional. They did not have my dogs wellbeing in mind, they just wanted my money.

All the staff is really professional and nice. The problem came with the dr. I had to take my 2 year old with me to the appt. he did cry, and is very scared of dr offices; however, he is only two years old. So, the doctor had no smile, very dry, came across as extremely annoyed as if I wasnt already stressed enough trying to comfort my two year old and take care of a puppy. We wont go back, and I did apologize to the dr for my son being upset but the dr just walked out. It was stressful, and he couldve have had just a tad bit of understanding. Thank you to the rest of the staff though.

This place is awesome. Very friendly staff both on phone and in person. The place is very clean and the vets take the time to explain whats going on in detail. Recently had a rescued kitten neutered and given his shots here. I also take my two doxies. If youre looking for a good vet clinic, youve found it! Dont let me forget to add, their prices are very reasonable.

Awesome vet! We are so happy with everyone there. They were recommended to us when we needed a new vet and it was a great recommendation. They love on our Max like hes their own and everyone is easy to communicate with and very knowledgeable. We had no issues boarding our Max with them as well and he was loved on and spoiled!

I have taken my pets to Dr. Koonsen for 20 or more years and have had excellent care. I have not had an off-hour emergency in a while but when I last had one, the doctor, usually Dr. Koonsen, has seen my pet rather than having to go to another clinic and be seen by a stranger.

They have been my vet since I moved into town 12 years ago. The staff is courteous and enjoyable to work with. The veterinarians take turns doing Saturday walk-ins. I enjoy the flexibility of not having to schedule every appointment.
