Very Rude! Never use or recommend this Vet!!! I felt like I was cattle prodded through and they were not concerned about my animal only money!! I took our family dog in knowing he was sick and we had discussed he may need to be put to sleep. I explained to the lady at the front I knew he was 12 yrs old and wanted to know how sick he was if he may need to be put to sleep. Once in with the Vet he says he has fluid on his lungs and heart failure ok this sounds like a bad situation I ask him what do you suggest thinking he would say he is very sick he may be better off to put him to sleep. NO instead he says he needs xrays and blood work and heart worm test etc.. ok so lets discuss options he then says DO YOU WANT TO SAVE YOUR DOG OR NOT? REALLY!!!!! This is what you ask someone ok any idea my response? yep you guessed it well of course I want to save my dog. $153 later and get home my dog dies 2 hrs after I get home. I call and let them know what happened thinking they would offer some type of relief to my frustration. This is the response well we did everything we could and we needed to do more test ok Im not a VET but really how many test do you need to know heart failure and fluid on a 12 yr old dogs lungs doesnt sound like a good outcome. Please consider this if I had been back home our regular Vet would have gone over the options such as putting the dog to sleep because they would have advised that he was extremely sick, 12 yrs old and testing wasnt necessary to tell that!

I am shocked to read some of the reviews are here. I love this place. My dog ate a bunch of chocolate one night & next morning I found the evidence & rushed in to here-Doc said, well he is gonna be fine-he woulda already died if he was going to LOL-just a really rough night. Then same dog ate several rubber toys-frantly rush him here-told me to give him stool laxative for people & it worked~! No thousand $$$ x rays. Other dog throwing up & was told to give pepto bismol & it worked. The only negative I have found is they dont sell Advantage multi for dogs, but I am going today to see what their advice is on this. I have 3 dogs now & need to trimline my finances & I am sure they have way. To me this place is excellent, they really care about the animals, not the $$$. The Animal Hospital down the road from them on the rubber toys over $1000.00 dollars in xrays needed. That freaking dog still eats everything in site! I would highly recommend this Animal Hospital, the Docs seems to know what he is doing & has years of experience & the staff has always been pleasant to me? I dont understand some of these reviews?

Cannot imagine taking my dogs anywhere else! Our old poodle picked him! He was nervous and shaky with any other vet we had been to but not with this one he loved him and we stuck with him. Our old guy finally died of old age and every time we would bring him in for checkups he was amazed he was still alive but he cared about him and took great care with the old guy. We have a younger one also and he has never been to any other vet we would never think of another vet. He is now 10 years old and is in wonderful health and what more can you ask for??? He loves his vet and his vet loves him!!! Best vet around for miles!!!

Hate it. The workers are very rude, and have no idea what theyre doing. I went to take my dog in, nothing was wrong with her, she just needed a check up, the first guy checked her, he said she is very ill, and she needs to be put down, I told him theres nothing wrong with her, and he just looked at me and said, "im just messing with you" the next doctor comes in and I tell him about the first guy, I said that was just pathetic, and he said, "whats pathetic is the fact that you came in here with a very ill dog" they were just absolutely rude, I will never go back to that place again.

This place is just like any other city vet. All about the Money not the animal.. might be cheaper to get in the door but they overcharge big time for the meds and prescriptions. I would look up anything they try to sell you I paid double the price for flea pills then found them for half the price at another vet and on the internet... so double check before you get screwed.. many of their meds can be found at feed stores too.. for half the cost.. just FYI

This is a review for services rendered 3 or more yrs ago. Ive taken my dogs here several times for small things- ear infection, regular check ups, x-rays. The big things Ive gone elsewhere. The care is affordable and effective. Its no frills and office staff needs work with personalization and manner, which is why I didnt give 5 stars- only minus half star for each since my dogs were well taken care of.

friendly, I really like the approach to animal care instead of our previous vet who fawns over the dogs and treat them like people. the dogs responded well, care was very good and reasonable unlike the boutique vets that charge an arm and leg to give a dog some shots and pills for heartworm.
