Dr. Skaer was so amazing, very attentive to my dogs but also addressed my husband & me & our questions. She even did research & printed it out for us. Talked to us about preventative care without putting pressure on us. Costs are all upfront which I appreciate. My dogs have had health issues in the past so I felt very secure that they are in the best hands. Best part of our visit was our tech named Christopher. My dogs take a while to warm up to strangers but hit off w/ him & Dr Skaer right away. One of my dogs was visibly shaking during her exam until Christopher just nuzzled her so affectionately & she stopped. She melted in his arms. You can tell he is a true animal lover and very knowledgable. He gave just as much care and attention to my other dog. Great service from front desk to exit. Most importantly my dogs left happy & my husband & I left knowing they had received top notch care.

Wheeler the Healer now calls Skaer Veterinary Clinic his healing home, and weve had nothing but state of the art, personalized and attentive care from the medical and front office staff. Ive had the opportunity to work with all the dogtors and most of the vet techs for a variety of needs, and the care was similarly seamless across services and providers. Im a bit biased with regard to the front desk staff, as Courtney Jackson is Wheelers cherished pet sitter and shes equally dear to me, but every one who greets you by phone or in person will make sure your pets needs are taken seriously and attended to as quickly as possible. Dr. Skaer, as her father before her, expertly practices with the utmost respect and regard for her patients. Im blessed to have this team looking after my furloved!!

My dog almost lost his life last week, at the young age of 6 years old. He ate some clothing of mine and it became obstructed requiring surgery. Dr. Dugan was patient, understanding, informative, and never once made me feel guilty during a very difficult time. Still I feel guilty that I ever put my dog through something like that because I was irresponsible, yet she was understanding and compassionate. And Dr. Skaer was there for me during the very intense moments of his surgery going back and forth to update me on the status of his surgery. We were in and out of the vet all week, and each and every time we were greeted with kind, caring staff who had empathy and concern for our big guy. It is because of them that our dog is alive. I can not recommend them enough.

Chris, and before Chris, her father Bill, have taken care of my pets for over 30 years. Chris has taken me through the joys and heartbreak of loving and eventually losing 4 very special companion animals. I suspect that the hardest thing a vet ever has to do is help a human being walk their beloved animal companions over the Rainbow Bridge. The Skaer vet clinic, including the support staff, are incredibly respectful and caring during that painful time. During the good times, they provide knowledgeable care and advice, and truly share your joy. Chris is extremely knowledgable, but even more important than that, she looks up the answers or consults with a specialist if she doesnt know the answer herself. Your fur-babies could never be in better hands.

Ive known Dr Chris for years, so when I adopted Farley, I knew where to go. Yes, its more expensive than other places, but the treatment and service we get there keeps us coming back. I now have Farley and Sophia. Neither has issues going to see our friends. Farley seems to look forward to his visits. When they both had their teeth cleaned, Dr Arnett herself called that evening to check on them. When we were out of town, Sophia had a seed pod get lodged in her paw. The dog sitter let me know, I called from out of state and she was taken care of right away. Love, love, love Skaer Vet Clinic!

The level of care provided at Skaers is fantastic. The staff is very friendly. Ive had had two different veterinarians there so far, and they were both very nice and very knowledgeable. However, the prices are a little high there and its easy to get persuaded/guilt-tripped into paying for extra services that you might not need. All in all, I would totally recommend Skaers for ease of mind, because you can be sure that you will be getting the highest quality of care for your furry friends. However, you are definitely paying for that quality.

This is the only place any of my animals will go. Dr. Skaer is amazing. When I went in to see her it was shaping up to be one of the worst days, but her and her whole team calmed me as much as they calmed my dog. The whole staff was informative and friendly. My dog has two moms and that didnt phase anyone there which is a relief in itself. A week later and my dog is back to his self again! And they even took the time to send a card welcoming us and asking how he was doing. A++ veterinarian!!!

My two cats have very different personalities, and the veterinarian as well as the technician were excellent with both of them and did everything they could to make sure they were as comfortable as possible. I also brought my guinea pig to them to get his nails trimmed. The technicians did an excellent job with him as well. This is definitely an amazing clinic and a very good place to take your fur babies.

We went to Dr. Skaer for a second opinion and immediately knew we were in great hands. They have a very polite and helpful staff and were available for all of our needs. We could tell they truly cared about our pet. Well take our pets to Skaer in the future. Cant say enough good things about the practice as a whole.

We had to put down one of our dogs a while ago. He wasnt mobile and we didnt feel it was right to scare him in a car ride on the day that we were doing it. They came to our house and did a phenomenal job. They helped us feel at peace. I dont think you can find a vet that cares this much. Highly recommend!

Very friendly and informative vets and vet techs. I have two Pyrenees and they can be expensive dogs to upkeep. The employees there always give me cost options and if need be, when I know its going to be a hefty bill, theyll quote out the work first and give me best cost options. Great vet clinic!

Wonderful clinic! Dr Skaer cares very much about her patients. The front desk staff and vet technicians are top notch...so friendly and knowledgeable! The prices are a little high, but worth it for the level of care. I have a senior dog requiring more services, and theyve been great!

Best place for your pets. They have an amazing staff who truly is caring and compassionate. After I picked up my kittie boy from dental surgery Dr. Arnet called me later in the evening to check on him. WOW!
