I drove past a street sign for The Joint on my commute one day and, since my back belt out of alignment, stopped in to check it out. I was first drawn in by the $19 initial consultation and adjustment. As I stepped in, I was struck by the calm, modern decoration in the office. The receptionist is very friendly and put me at ease immediately. They got me through the initial paperwork in just a few minutes, the I got adjusted and on my way in less than 10 minutes after that. I think that the entire first visit took less than 20 minutes (and cost me less than $20). I got some adjustments that Ive never had before, despite seeing several other chiropractors in the past. Since then, Ive returned for several more adjustments to offset my office worker lifestyle. Even at the busiest times that Ive visited, Ive never had to wait longer than 10 minutes before my adjustment; I think that is great for a drop-in adjustment. Ive waited significantly longer at other practitioners even with an appointment. Not only would I refer a friend here, but I have referred my wife and talked with several other friends and relatives about The Joint Cottonwood Heights and Dr. Lloyd. In fact, I just bought the 20 adjustment pack to share with my wife. Although I havent had a need to try this yet, I also appreciate that I can visit another location of The Joint for an adjustment as well. I definitely recommend The Joint Cottonwood Heights to anyone needing a chiropractor, just dont make it too busy when I stop in; I call first in line.

I always have been a firm believer in chiropractic care, but its been hard to go thanks to the $40 co-pay-when my back would go out it sometimes was up to $160 in a week just for co-pays! Not to mention dealing with my insurance company just to get them to approve preventative care visits, arranging my life around the offices ridiculous hours, and taking time off of work to go to appointments was all a nightmare. I moved to Midvale last winter and I saw a sign for the Joint advertising a $19.00 adjustment. I stopped by and was so impressed with them. Dr. Lloyd is great and so knowledgeable. I love that I can stop by on my way home from work, and Im usually in and out in under ten minutes. I signed up for the monthly plan and I visit them weekly for a little more than a single co-pay before. Last week I threw out my back (again), and Dr. Lloyd has helped my turnaround time so much. Usually Im down for almost a week and in pain for another few weeks, but I was back at work on the fourth day and I only have a little pain left as my body continues healing. Im sure the Sugarhouse location is wonderful, but if you live closer to the Cottonwood Heights location dont hesitate to stop by and see Dr. Lloyd. You wont regret it. I can not say enough about them and how grateful I am I found them!

I have been going to see Dr. Lloyd at The Joint for 7 months now and not only do I feel great and recommend it to my friends, my wallet isnt empty and my schedule doesnt feel constrained. I have tried 5 other chiropractors around Salt Lake City and had various problems with each of them, the 2 consistent problems were: Cost & Time. The cost was always preventing me from getting routine maintenance and forcing me to wait until I couldnt stand the pain any longer. The "appointment" process was very difficult as I would have to make everything revolve around it and each center would ridicule customers for being late or having to change their appointment while at the same time have no problem making you wait 30 minutes because they got behind. The Joint has excellent prices that allow me to get a weekly adjustment that keeps me feeling great! The fact I can pop-in any time I need without calling ahead is fantastic! I can even find myself closer to one of their other locations while shopping and stop in there instead! They even have weekend hours (something other chiropractors dont offer). I refer friends to Dr. Lloyd at The Joint because I want them to experience chiropractic care the way it should be: Professional/Effective/Affordable/Convenient.

I join the Joint 6 months ago. It started out great they had good chiropractors and staff. I loved the flexibility however now I only go on Monday nights now because they have had major inconsistent with doctors at this location and the only good one works on Monday so their went flexibility with time. In addition, their front desk seems to have really also taken a decline. Phones are off half the time going straight to voice mail. The wait time its 45 minutes instead of 15 min. They say because Mondays are busy night I think Mondays are busy because the other doctors are no longer worth seeing and the front desk seems to be making mistakes left and right. I tried to call and get on the list left voice mail but when I got their they refused to honor my call ahead and said their were only 2 people in front of me but then they messed up their was actual 4 people and it turned into a long wait. Plus they guys kept asking me my name every 10 minutes...to me it made me feel like he had no clue who was who and what was going on..... anyways I really felt inclined to write a review because of the decline in service at this particular location. I hope it improves I do like the concept and the pricing.

I have been experiencing sever back pain for over 6 years and have seen several doctors, and after ex-rays always told my back and discs look just fine, that I in fact have muscular problems. I have been taking prescribed Loritab and Soma several times a week during this period of time. About 4 months ago I was sitting at my office with much pain including a headache and thought I would try a Chiropractor. The Joint is fairly close to my office and I had seen it previously so I headed right over there with out an appointment being made. Once there, they had me fill out general forms and sign typical releases to work on me. I was in and out of there in about 20 minutes. But the thing that was even better than that was that my headache went away and my pain became tolerable. A couple weeks went by, and I again found myself with similar pain and discomfort, so I thought I would try them again. Sure enough, it worked. From that point forward I have visited The Joint on a nearly weekly basis. I now rarely need to rely on pain meds and muscle relaxers. It is very convenient to go there now I am in their system, I am generally in and out in less than 10 minutes.

The Joint started out great. I was one of the first to jump on their subscription model. The doctors were friendly, effective, and informative. And their subscription model made it nice to be able to get adjusted often, and add someone to a family plan so that i can take care of my loved ones without breaking the bank. HOWEVER, when i went to put a pause on my account for a few months, my account was slapped with a fee equal to 2 months of the subscription. I wasnt told about this fee upon attempting to pause my subscription, nor was it in the original contract, nor through some sort of mail letting me know about the status of my account. I only found out about it after it went to collections. After contacting The Joint countless times, i was unable to get any assistance in resolving the situation. Many times i was told theyd call me back, and then never received a call. As a result of all of this, i am no longer a customer, as it doesnt work for me to support a company that just considers me another number in their system.
