My daughter was getting bad headaches caused by eye strain, daily. She was stuggling with her reading scores in school, but her teachers kept saying they knew she could read better than those scores were showing. She had a hard time seeing the board in class and then she was having a hard time seeing her books on her desk. She was 10 yrs old and wearing bifocals to help her see better in school. They didnt help enough. By the end of the day, she was still getting headaches and she couldnt see, even with her glasses. Thats when Dr David recommended eye therapy. The concept of eye therapy made sense. After about five sessions, she was noticing a difference. Her headaches lessened with the eye strain. By therapy graduation, she wasnt needing her glasses in school and her headaches were completely gone! Plus her reading scores improved and showed her where her teachers felt she was performing. Her confidence increased as well. On top of that, Dr David initially suggested 20 sessions. My daughter graduated in less than that. He stopped the sessions when she was ready. We didnt have to pay or continue with unnecessary therapy. This was truly one of the best things we could have done for our daughter. It was worth EVERY PENNY!!!

Dr. David and the staff at Utah Vision Solutions have made a huge impact on my 10 year old sons ability to function at school. He has a visual processing disorder, and with frequent visits to Dr. Davids office my son no longer complains of eyes watering, headaches, etc. when doing close work. Its frustrating as a parent because my son has "perfect" 20/20 vision so it took us a long time to figure out he had a visual processing disorder. We were diagnosed elsewhere and found Utah Vision Solutions on the web. Dr. David is wonderful with my son and is great at explaining why the various exercises help my sons vision. By understanding what the problem is and why hes doing what hes doing it has made a lasting impact. Dr. David also serves our military and we are most grateful for his service. An incredible doctor that can help my son and serve our country deserves high praise! The rest of the staff is incredible as well. Thank you!!

Said my son need $2500 in "vision therapy." I asked him if my son needed a new prescription, the doctor swore up and down that that his prescription was 20/20. We got a second opinion and guess what his prescription had changed! $160 vs. $2500? Not a doctor, very much a sales person. His pitch centers on "therapy of the future" "not well known" and "this therapy will fix your sons behavioral problems (no one said anything about behavioral issues, this was an eye exam) and will learn better." After doing research, in rare cases this special vision therapy can be beneficial, that being said, many of the articles said "anyone that claims vision therapy will correct behavior problems is not being truthful." Nothing more than a mountebank taking advantage of desperate families. Stay away, if you are giving this clown money, get a your money back!

Before going to Vision Therapy my son could only read on a 3rd grade level and he was in 5th grade. Dr. David examined him and explained exactly what the problem was. He worked with my son 3 times a week and gave us homework to practice EVERY day. It was tough and there were tears, BUT IT WORKED! My son was able to train his eyes to do what they needed to do to make him successful! It took time, but it worked! Dr. David was AMAZINGLY patient with my son and made him feel like he mattered and was important! I would recommend this type of therapy to ANYONE that struggles with reading!
