I first learned of Scottsdale Eye Physicians & Surgeons in 1998 when searching for a highly qualified Surgeon to repair my fathers botched cataract removal surgery. Every source I asked eventually led to Dr. Dennis Kilpatrick. His care for my father who was 85 years old at the time led to his having good vision till his passing at age 96, when he could still read calligraphy daily! My mother was next, she had Dr. D perform cataract surgery on both eyes and at age 80 was able to regain her drivers license. Next, my wife who had poor vision her entire life. Dr. D. performed surgery on both her eyes and now she sees all my flaws. It was inevitable that I should also need cataract removal surgery. I did not even have a second thought at to who would perform the surgery for me. The entire process from the first consultation to the decision of what to do was entirely fundamental and easy to understand. The pre-op procedure was simple and easy to follow and even easier was the actual procedure. The prep time was the longest, it was about 45 min before being wheeled into the OR and from there it was only about another 20 minutes before the surgery was completed! Each and every member of the surgical team was pleasant and professional, there was absolutely no stress or anxiety. The best part of this recount is that the next day, my vision was amazing! I could see sharply and clearly into the distance! Its been a couple months since both of my eyes were done and I could not be more satisfied. I had always known that Dr. Ds results were excellent, but I had no idea that the whole process was so comfortable. Without hesitation, if you need eye care, go see Dr. Dennis Kilpatrick!

Dr. Dennis Kilpatrick has been my ophthalmologist for the past six years and I recently visited with him in July 2017 for my annual check up. I am thankful and blessed to be under the care of Dr. Kilpatrick. I was born premature in the early 50s and due to too much oxygen in the incubator my retinas never fully formed. I also had lazy eye which just became to be diagnosed in the early 50s. I had a retina tare in one eye. Bottom line my eyes have been my weak part of me for my entire life. I had many eye surgeries as a child. I am thankful for four eye doctors in my life. If it were not for them I would not still have my sight today. Two of those doctors are Dr. Dennis Kilpatrick my ophthalmologist and Dr. J. Shepard Bryan, my retina doctor. Dr. Kilpatrick and his staff are extremely thoughtful, professional and patient with you. The vast experience of his staff becomes evident during your examination. They are thorough and listen to you and your concerns.....and believe me I always have a lot of questions. I also have found charges to be quite reasonable. Someday I will have my last cataract removed by Dr. Kilpatrick. If you are under the care of Dr. Kilpatrick, you can rest assured you got the best of the best. If I was to rate Dr. Kilpatrick and Scottsdale Eye Physicians and Surgeons on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give them a 10++++.

They will cancel you if you are 1 min. late, but if you are on timeyou wait in the lobby for an hour. The girls at the front desk are extreamly rude. They treat you like a number, not a human being. Go some where else where they care!
