I hope my experience is an anomaly, but heres my story: I took my son and daughter in for exams. I already knew my daughter had a cavity. They said she had two cavities and they were so bad theyd have to be capped. Total bill would be $550. This seemed weird to me because we have super good dental insurance. They said my insurance would only cover part and that it would be extra for things like getting white caps instead of silver. And they refused to work on her unless she was sedated, which I argued with them about because she is a super good patient and I knew shed be fine with just laughing gas. But, they were insistent that she had to be sedated. I was a bit sticker shocked, so I went home to think it over. I started getting texts and emails reminding me that I needed to bring my son in for his follow-up appointment. Like I said, my son had gotten an exam at the same time, but he had been fine, no problems, come back in six months for another cleaning. But, all the nagging texts and emails were about him. No mention of my daughter with two cavities. Obviously, they had switched my childrens records, which is unbelievably sloppy and unprofessional!! I decided not to return to their office. I took my daughter to a different pediatric dentist who did x-rays and an exam, and the dentist said she had three cavities, but they were small enough that white fillings would be fine. And that my daughter was obviously really chill and would be fine with just laughing gas (and that he doesnt like to sedate children anyways, unless its absolutely necessary). Total bill: $35!!! That is SIX PERCENT of what Salt Lake Pediatric was going to charge me!!! This is completely unacceptable. Im so glad I got a second opinion!!!

Thank you for always exceeding my expectations! I never have to fight with my kids about going to the dentist- they love it! You guys are the best! When my son broke his front tooth in half I was devastated thinking it would never look the same. I called into the office and was shocked when they told us we could come right then and that they would fit us in so my son wouldnt have to walk around with a broken tooth. I was shocked after the docs fixed it- you cannot even tell which tooth was broken. Seriously, we were so impressed we went around to our family members and tried to have them guess which tooth he broke- nobody could tell. The best part is- it was a piece of cake for my son. He was a little nervous but the docs and staff are always so gentle and friendly. Thanks so much for taking such great care of my boys!

We started bringing our daughter when she was about two and a half. We noticed she had a huge cavity in her molar and we had been referred to Salt Lake Pediatric dentistry by our dentist Dr. Bye at City Creek Dental. Weve worked with both dentists and they are both fabulous! And the cleaning techs are soooo good with kids. We ended up having to put our daughter under with anesthesia to get her route canal perfromed and a silver cap added, and man was I nervous, but all the steps were made clear and they made us feel at ease. Our daughter did great at 2 1/2. Was a little groggy for the day but was fine other than that. Shes been back for a regular cleaning and xrays and didnt even cry once - which really shows how great the team is there. I definitely recommend!

We couldnt get into our regular dentist today and called up Salt Lake Pediatric. The secretary was on her computer trying to help me find the dentist I was initially looking for but also said that they took our insurance and could get us in. My son was complaining of a toothache and we needed to be seen urgently. They got us in within 30min and took exceptional care of our son. They made it fun, explained things in a child-friendly way and took him to see something cool while the dentist explained what we needed to do to have his tooth extracted. The whole office was friendly and professional. We came across them on accident but theyve won us over for our childrens dental care completely.

My 4 year old daughter had a handful of dental issues last year and my friend recommended Dr. Dave at Salt Lake Pediatric Dentistry. They were really sweet to her and walked me through the entire process. My daughter has some social anxiety and everyone we worked with was really great with her. Dr. Dave talked to her about the importance of letting my husband and me brush her teeth and she was so much better about letting us do it after her first visit. For her second visit we took care of all of the issues and she had to be put under for it. The anesthesiologist was awesome as well. I am happy to report that she just had a checkup today and she is cavity free!

I brought my two sons here and was more than pleasantly surprised by the overall experience of both the staff AND the Dentists. They were conscious of the fact that it was my two year olds first time being examined by a dentist, and that my 8 year old had a bad experience with a dentist in California previously, they made sure their experiences were fun and enjoyable all while performing a thorough examination! Both of my boys are actually excited to come back for their next check up! They had a very beautiful facility, with plenty of open space for children and parents in the back office area. Highly recommend!

This office is the best! The dentists and the staff are so patient with kids, even the ones who dont want anyone to touch (or even look at) their teeth. They know how to help the kids feel comfortable. Instruments are introduced in a friendly and non-intimidating way. They have kid-friendly flavors for fluoride and toothpaste. The office itself is gorgeous -- brightly lit, beautifully decorated and very welcoming for the patients. There are tvs in the ceiling above all the exam chairs so the kids can watch videos while having their teeth cleaned or checked.

They were wonderful! Our experience at the facility and with the provider was great. From the front desk, to the toys, environment and the empathy towards my little one and her fears. It was exactly what I was looking for and more. I will continue to come back here and recommend anyone to check out this office. p.s. seeing the staff dress up for different themed days is great! My daughter loved that her Dentist was wearing an Olaf shirt. She loves the idea of going to the dentist and hopefully will get more and more comfortable with each appt.

Best pediatric dentistry Ive have been to so far! My son is almost 2 so this was his third time going to the dentist..hes always shy and standoff-ish at first when it comes to meeting new people but the staff was so kid friendly he warmed up right away. The dentist was very thorough and gentle while going through the exam. I didnt feel rushed and I was able to get a clear understanding of what to expect until the next visit. I also love all the toys and TVs and the colorful displays on the office. Nothing bad to say!
