I am really surprised by some of these ratings & comments. My children have been patients at this office for over 7 years & I love this practice & have always recieved exceptional care! We have at least 15 friends that bring their families to this practice as well & Ive heard nothing but good comments about them as well. I love that I can call their nurse any time with questions. I have seen all of the doctors in this office and myself as well as my children love all of them. I really like their website, I can go onto it after hours if I have questions about symptoms my children may be experiencing & if my questions arent answered on the website I can always call and talk with a doctor after hours. I have had several experiences with their billing department & have always recieved exceptional service, but I always pay my bill or call if I have questions. I had one experience in particular where I had switched jobs & thought I had insurance for 30 days, but really only had coverage until the end of the month. We brought our daughter in for a well check up with several vaccines and did not realize until afterwards that we did not have insurance. The girl in the billing department was extremely nice & helpful (I believe her name was Heidi), they made a big adjustment on my account & allowed us to make payments on the remaining balance. I was very impressed, I have never been treated so well by a billing department in any other office or facility. I refer all of my friends & family to this practice all the time without any hesitation, I would HIGHLY recommend this office, I know we will never leave.

We scheduled a meet and greet with a doctor to see if this place was right for our family. We were thrilled to see that the sick patient area was on a completely separate floor than the well child area. Once we got there, not only was the front desk staff rude and condescending (on both floors) but we also were told we had to meet with the doc in the sick child area even though both of our boys were healthy. I thought about canceling and going elsewhere but this place had really good reviews so went in to our appointment with our newborn and toddler in tow. Though we washed our hands really well after leaving and sanitized everything, a few days later both of our boys started puking (and no, we never went anywhere else the day before or few days following our appointment)... I guess thats one way to get new clients. Bring them in and expose them to sick children so they have to come back... really bad first impression. We have an appointment at a different clinic tomorrow. They may have great doctors, but we will never find out because we wont be back.

I love Families First Pediatrics. The only thing I dont like is that sometimes its tough to get ahold of a nurse on the phone, theyll call you back but if you miss the call, your loss. We see Dr Zarbock. He is sweet and fun with the kids, and never dismissive or condescending to us new parents, gives us the time we need to ask questions, and treats us as individuals. The nurses are very good and kind, too. So far weve only had well-child visits in the upstairs office, thank goodness. All on staff are very respectful of our decisions to divide or not receive vaccinations. Its pretty easy to reschedule well-child visits to a more convenient time, especially if youre willing to go to the Herriman office. We also love the energy and decor of the place-- theres a huge fish tank with anemone and fish in the lobby, a token machine for kids to get a prize after their appointment, and unique mural paintings of magical creatures and nature in every patient room weve been in. So far, so good!

I transferred to the Herriman clinic (even though its a 40 minute drive for me) and will never go anywhere else! They have a separate waiting room for sick children which I appreciated! The staff was so friendly! The nurse who helped us was so sweet and kind! THE DOCTORS ROCK! We went to Dr. Kody and as a first time mom I had a ton of questions. He sat and listened to us the entire time I talked. He looked me in the eye and engaged in the convo instead of typing in his computer or writing. He simply listened. He was very knowledgeable and when I needed to make a medical choice for my son he gave me options and let me pick!!! He didnt tell me what to do! For the scrap-booking Mommas they give you the measurements of your kiddos for their scrapbooks :) I just cant say enough about them! LOVE THEM!

Im amazed by the bad reviews! I have had nothing but EXCEPTIONAL experiences at this practice and Dr. Thomas is by far the best pediatrician I have ever brought my children to. The kids actually LOVE to go see her! I have been questioning if my 4 year old has ADHD for a while and so many people kept telling me it was just her age. In my gut feeling I felt like there was really something there so I took her in thinking Id get the same response. They actually really took the time to evaluate her and help me take the evaluation to the next step! There is no diagnosis, but I wasnt brushed off and for the first time ever I felt like I was taken seriously. The nurses have always been extremely nice and helpful as well as the other doctors we have seen when Tiffany was out of the office.

We LOVE Families first. I see Dallen Ormond, PhD, and he is not only incredibly intelligent, but he has a very gentle and kind bedside manner. Off the top of his head he has helped me with problems that my previous pediatricians could not. My youngest has special health concerns and Dallen went the extra mile to get us an appointment to see the geneticists a year earlier than scheduled. I also LOVE that the office has separate rooms for sick kids and well kids. His staff has always been very kind and courteous and even when my insurance was being difficult his billing department was kind and helpful. I recommend Families First to everyone I know, especially Dallen Ormond.

We used to go to Families First and saw Dr Ormond. My youngest was born over 3 months early and he seemed very knowledgable with preemies. My oldest son absolutely adores him as well. Im shocked by these bad reviews. We recently moved to NJ and they charge over $700 just for a well check visit not including vaccinations if you decide to do them. All they care about is the money. They are also extremely rude. Anyone writing bad reviews needs to get out of Utah!! Trust me, youll be missing them! By far the best pediatric office around, and we moved all over. We miss Families First!

We have been coming here for 4 years. We love Chris Cook. He is THE BEST. He has helped my oldest son through so many different health issues, and has reassured me through it all as well. He is personable, fun, remembers conversations with my son, and follows up with him about his interests. Its awesome to have someone I trust so completely, and trusts my judgement when it comes to my kids. Also, offices are always clean and friendly, and they always work their hardest to see us on short notice. We have seen other providers here and all of them are wonderful.
