I just want to start by saying SO many people have such a high opinion of Dr Later, and I think Im definitely in the minority. I actually was a patient of Miquelle Smith and loved her and when I got pregnant, I just stayed at this office and Dr Later became my OB. He was always very rude and arrogant when my husband and I met with him. I was terribly sick and lost some weight in my first two trimesters and he not so nicely accused me of purposefully starving myself. I left every single appointment in tears. I kept telling myself hes competent and I trusted he had mine and my babys best interests at heart and I could stick it out. Turns out, I couldnt stick it out, and in my third trimester (that tells you how bad it got for me) I switched OBs. I even had paid ahead and had to call to get it refunded. I dont understand why my experience was so vastly different from so many other ladies, but his bedside manner with me was terrible. I loved my second OB but we moved and had to find a new one when I got pregnant again. After now having 3 OBs, I can confidently say that there are really wonderful OBs that are so kind while still being competent and having my complete trust. Unfortunately, for me, Dr. Later wasnt one of them in my experience.

I have to say I have been going to Dr. Later for years now and will NEVER change! He and his staff ALWAYS takes care of every issue I have. When I was out of town I got a UTI and was in great pain I called my Family doctor only to be directed to the Emergency Room because they would not call a prescription in for me. Emergency Room visits are an average of $800 per visit, I know this becaue I work for a Health Insurance Company. Its these types of things that cause our healthcare to go up! Well, I called Dr Laters after hours line and got immediate help, and a prescription was called to the nearest Pharmacy. And she even looked up a Pharmacy on line to help me because I was out of town and did not know what Pharmacy was close to me. THAT is going ABOVE what most physician offices do! He delivered 1 son and 3 of my grandkids and I have referred him to several other friends that go to him, we ALL state he is the best in every aspect. His staff is also very helpful and kind! I would highly recommend to anyone!

My wife was humiliated by the staff nurse Miquelle Smith. My wife has been a patient for the last 10 years and was denied a prescription renewal because of an insurance co-pay of $42.00 from a previous office visit that was errantly on their books. I called Nurse Smith today to understand her perspective, she rudely informed me that my wife could no longer be a patient of this office (becuse of my phone call)and hung up on me when I called to reconcile their records of the paid bill. I can only hope others reading this will reconsider when making a decision of a Doctors office. Very unprofessional.

I have been going to Dr. Later for 13 yrs and will not go anywhere else. I had three miscarriages before finally having our first baby. Dr. Later was so on top of ordering tests and was so empathetic to what we were going through. Then with my second baby, I developed Cholestasis of Pregnancy (a rare liver disorder in pregnant women) and once again, he was right on top of tests, treatment, scans, etc. It is so nice to know that whatever happens, emergent or not, I am in good hands with Dr. Later!

I was referred to Dr. Robert Later, later in my pregnancy by my aunt who absolutely loved him when she was seeing him for prenatal care for her children. I just have to tell you, I am so happy I decided to make an appointment and have him be my OBGYN for this pregnancy. He is so nice and personable. He really cares about the wellbeing of his patients. The office staff is amazing and always so nice! I will highly recommend going to his office.

I love going to this office. The staff are nice and helpful. Dr. Later is good at what he does. When I come in to see him, he will sit and listen to my needs. He is not in a hurry to see the next patient. Dr. Later delivered my twins, which was a high risk pregnancy, and also did my hysterectomy. Very professional. I would recommend Dr. Later to women who are looking for a doctor or a hormone specialist.

Dr. Later is by far the best OBGYN in the valley! My wife has been going to him for 17 years and he is the same today as he was 17 years ago! He listens, he explains, he is gentle with her, and is the most confident Doctor I have ever seen. If you want to have an amazing experience with having your baby, taking care of you or the most important person to you. Go to the best!

Dr Later is the best ObGyn doctor here in Utah. I went to him for a procedure and he did a wonderful job getting me comfortable with the whole thing. He explained all what he was doing and was able to answer all my questions. I would recommend Dr Later to anyone who needs wants the best experience. his staffs were the best. They treated me like family.

Dr. Later & his staff are the absolute best! I never have to wait long to be taken back & get done with what needs to be done. He is so nice, and is always willing to answer ALL of the questions you may have, in a way you are able to understand! I will never go to anyone else until I have to.

Dr. Later had delivered both of my babies. He has been great, very professional and always explained every step of the way through both pregnancies. The nursing staff has been so great. I would highly recommend Dr. Robert Later to anyone having a baby.

Im the husband and I have gone to all the visits with my wife except for one from the time we started until the birth. Dr Later has been great! He is a down to earth guy and has an awesome staff. Highly recommend to anyone!

The most UNORGANIZED, and DISRESPECTFUL doctors office that I have ever had to deal with. I have never been treated so poorly by nurses and office staff in my life. 10/10 would not recommend this office.

Dr. Later is on time! Hes amazing with his knowledge base. I love Dr. Laters office staff and exam room. Theyve thought of everything. If you want an OB to love - this is the man!!!

Dr. Later is wonderful. Competent and caring. He has delivered all three of my children with complications on the last pregnancy. I would highly recommend him.
