BEWARE Again- I posted the review from "Google User" concerning my Granddaughter and the incorrect and very serious diagnosis that was given by Dr. Eberting. Everything I said was factual. A matter of fact, Childrens Hospital in Salt Lake City proved Dr. Eberting wrong. Dr. Eberting wrote a rebuttal to my email stating how great she is. This Dr. is very arrogant and has a massive EGO. She even had her sister write a review giving her 5 Stars right after I posted my factual review that she did not like. Yes- you heard it correctly; her sister Michelle "Eberting" Haneberg wrote the glowing review -her sister lives in Everett, Washington so she must fly to Utah every time someone in her family has a skin problem. Hum - I wonder how many other reviews are from her family. Always get a second opinion ESPECIALLY when a Dr. like this is arrogant and has a massive EGO. As for her line of specialty creams, it makes you wonder how effective they are. I would doubt the creams are FDA approved and I doubt the creams have had double blind clinical studies done on them to see how effective they actually are. Remember, FDA Registered is not the same as FDA approved. I think the FDA might want to look at some of the claims she is making- I know what happens next, Dr. Eberting will write a rebuttal telling you how great she is and how many people love her. Then she will have a relative write her a "bogus" glowing 5 Star review. She will also say that we are not patients at her office - well, she would now be correct since her diagnosis was so incorrect we would never go back to her and we would never recommend her to anyone. Again BEWARE- always get a second opinion on an important diagnosis. I have nothing against the Dr. as I am sure she has helped some patients. Dr. Eberting, stick to the facts and dont be so arrogant with your patients- try to be somewhat humble and more caring towards others. (3.02.16)

I have to agree with the other negative reviews. Dr. Eberting is very rude and has a horrible bedside manner. I went there 3 weeks ago to finally have all my moles checked out. I never had it done before. Out of all my moles, only 2 were concerning to her. Thats great. However, I had to have my 2 kids with me as I didnt have anyone to watch them. My daughter was doing pretty well, but my son is extremely curious and likes to look at everything. I did my best to keep him controlled, but I was on the table. Then my son picked up her mirror because he likes to look at himself. He wasnt flinging it around or playing with it, just looking at himself. She very rudely told him to put it down before he breaks it. I looked over to see what kind of mirror it was and it was a freaking $2 mirror that you could get from Walmart. Seriously??? If he broke it, I would be HAPPY to buy a new one as it was keeping my son out of other items in the office. After she removed the 2 concerning moles and one other that I asked to have removed because I kept catching it on things, she told me to use a boo boo balm cream. This would prevent the sores from scarring. I looked at the cream and asked where I could get it. Apparently she didnt hear me because she ignored me. I figured fine, whatever, I will find it myself. I went to a store after and they had never heard of it. When I got home, I looked it up. This cream is ONLY available online, not local at all and is REALLY pricey. If youre going to recommend a cream, at least recommend one that I can get locally. If I had bought the one online, it would have taken about 1 week to get to me and by that time the sores would have scabbed. Overall, Im glad I got my moles checked out, but I will never go back there again.

BEWARE of this Self Promoting Dermatologist- Dr. Cheryl Lee Eberting in Alpine - she gave an incorrect and psychologically damaging diagnosis. She is also a self promoter of her not so special line of Eczema Creams (probably created by mixing several over the counter ingredients together). My young granddaughter was brought in to see Dr. Eberting for her bad Eczema on many parts of her body. The Dr. told the childs Mother that her cream would cure the condition - I doubt it. But what came next was the most shocking part of the visit. The Dr. proceeded to tell the mother that her daughter had a extremely serious skin condition and that her daughter would have serious problems throughout her life and would probably never have children. The Mother of this child left in tears at the frightening diagnosis which made her sick with fear. I was told of the diagnosis and I said that sounds ridiculous that a Dr. could look at a young child and tell you what was going to happen to them in 18 years. Simply ridiculous. An appointment was made with Primary Childrens Hospital in Salt Lake City to talk with a Specialist in this field. Guess what, the specialist said, the diagnosis from Dr. Eberting was 100% INCORRECT. Why do these Dr.s act like know-it-alls, when they dont really know. Always and I mean always - get a second opinion from a Specialist Doctor preferably in Salt Lake City. I would NOT recommend this doctor to anyone. STAY AWAY.

I have been going to Dr. Eberting for almost one year. I am age 60 and have been having skin issues for the last 8-10 years. My California dermatologist diagnosed me with cystic rosacea. She took one look at me and said: "No, you have adult acne." It was mainly around my chin. She put me on a drug called Spironolactone which they have been having a lot of success with in older women. After about a month on the drug, my skin started clearing up and now I no longer have those huge inflamed cyst-like sores on my face. It has been 9 months and my skin is clear for the first time in many years. Not only that but Spironolactone blocks testosterone and I have had a MIRACLE take place. I no longer have migraines which I have been plagued with for years. I have been tested for every cause of migraines know to woman but to no avail. I have not had a migraine in 8 months! I would get 3 or 4 a month before. I know this is the reason. Sometimes we women just KNOW! Dr. Eberting is very thorough. Youve never really had a mole check until she gives you one!!! I dont mind her bedside manner (I read some of the reviews). I would much rather have my Dr.s be honest and straight with me. Her staff is great as well.

I have a rare form of psoriasis. Cheryl Eberting had no idea what it was and became convinced it was allergies. When I came for a second visit I waited for over an hour and a half from my scheduled time. I could hear her in the room next door shooting the breeze with a patient/friend. An apologetic assistant kept coming in and assuring me she would be here soon. When she finally came and I explained to her that I felt that I was suffering from PPP she became extremely annoyed and reiterated that it was allergies and there was nothing she could do. That I needed to go to an allergist. Ive been being treated by Byron Edwards for PPP, which is what I have, with good results. But I cant recommend Eberting and Alpine Dermatology as they wasted my time and were not knowledgeable. Per their comment below, yes, I did have the incorrect name initially. I had mixed up Cheryl with a visiting tech or something, by mistake. I have since corrected it. But it was definitely Cheryl Eberting who I met with twice, and the experience I illustrated above happened at her office. I wish it didnt and I wish I could give her a better review.
