To be clear, I have been to this clinic before and in the past have seen Dr. Parker - whom is wonderful. Unfortunately her schedule did not allow appointments for nearly 4 months, so I was directed to their new MD on staff - Kevin Dahle. I have never written a negative review before, because I realize the seriousness in which they can bring - influencing other potential patients, and I usually think it is unfair to base that decision on one negative experience. Well, my experience with Dr. Dahle has changed my opinion. I am a health care professional, and I was appalled that he could hardly hold a conversation with me. He had no ideas and really offered no solutions. You may think that I am exaggerating, but I assure you I am not: while attempting to give me a diagnosis, he GOOGLED my symptoms on his phone right there in the patient room with me, and decided he could do another test, as it might be "this". He did the test and said "it does not really look like the images here (pointing at his phone), but I could convince myself that it might be..." He then proceeded to google the correct dosage for the medication he would prescribe based on this particular test (a modified black light). I get to the Pharmacy to pick up the prescription - well over $100 (after insurance) for this "guess". I did not take it, and decided to go with the over the counter spray for ~$5.00, which did the trick, and apparently was just one of the most common dermatological issues. The icing on the cake is that I received a bill for nearly $200 (after insurance) for my "office visit" with him. I cannot help but think that Google should be free - amazing. I chose to write this review 2 months after my visit with Kevin Dahle because I did not want to write it while I was upset in the moment - reading this back to myself, I think it is something I SHOULD be upset about. I hope and pray that this is not what our new MDs are going to look like and the health care that we can expect. Next time, I will stay home and google on my own (dont do that - its really poor medical advice); however, I will certainly never return to this young MD again.

I was recommended by my kids pediatrician to Dr Parker to treat a wart on my 5-year-old that over-the-counter stuff just could not get rid of. Unfortunately, she was booked out quite a ways and wed been dealing with this unsightly beast for too long already so we scheduled with Dr Dahle instead. My son is pretty tough, but was super nervous since wed attempted to freeze the wart at home a few times and therefore knew what he was in for, but Dr Dahle was great with him and made him feel as calm as possible during the visits. It took a few treatments to get rid of it completely, but I was very impressed with the entire staff and especially Dr Dahle for making my son feel comfortable and at ease each and every time. He took time to just chat with my son a bit and not rush through the appointment, and I was really appreciative of that since that makes a huge difference with kids. I would not hesitate to recommend him for pediatric dermatology needs to anyone and will most definitely use him in the future.

I take my 2 year old to Dr. Carter in Pediatrics and he is AMAZING! We had a really tough experience with another pediatrician at a different facility for the first 6 months of my daughters life and I am beyond glad we made the switch to Dr. Carter. We never wait in the lobby long, the nurses are all great, I cant say enough good things about Dr. Carter. He is patient, really listens to what I have to say and is willing to answer any questions and as a first time mom I have quite a few. Some of my friends also go to Holladay Pediatrics with different doctors and they all love their experiences too. So grateful I found Holladay Pediatrics!
