I rarely write google reviews, especially negative ones, but after some thought I decided to write one for the Swinyer-Woseth Dermatology Clinic on their tactless and unprofessional staff. I had a completely terrible experience with the receptionist staff that checked me in. The woman checking me in told me I was late, which I actually arrived a few minutes before my 10:45am appointment and would have been there sooner (at the requested 15 mins early), but a motorcyclist was hit on highland drive causing delays. She asked me for my insurance card and ID and I explained I had forgotten the card at home, but told her I had the policy # and group #. She said that wasnt good enough and she needed the card to scan. Fair enough, so I had the front and back of the card texted to me from home. She was beyond rude to me in her choice of words and tone of voice when asking questions before handing me the forms to fill out. As I was filling them out she proceed to holler across the desk to me for my card info and if it was being sent to me. I told her it was. I said it would be just a minute. Then she proceed to ask me several times in the same fashion and told me "youre going to be messing up other appointments by being late". At this point I received the card info and asked her for her email, which she didnt even offer during the entire tirade of asking me for it. I sent it from my iphone twice and she kept asking (from across the room yet again, in front of all the other people in the lobby) and saying she didnt receive it. I asked if she checked her spam and she replied it wouldnt be in there. She rudely said "if I dont have your card you will be charged for your visit". Again she said this from across the lobby, as I was still seated. I said that was fine, but I sent the cards twice to your email. I quickly completed my forms and took them to her. I took a seat again and waited for my name to be called. After my appointment finished, I wound up at the billing desk and she still had not received the emails. I requested if there was another person I could send it to, which the other rude receptionist gave me her email on a post it note and I sent it to her twice. This only took a couple minutes and she eventually received it after I asked if she refreshed her inbox, but during this time they kept pressing me to pay the $260 for the 15 minute visit with the doctor. Yes thats right $260... My previous Dermatology appointments in Denver Co were less than $100 and the service the practice was top notch, clean and very professional. Once she received it I left and once I got to the parking lot I felt horrible about my experience at this practice. I was a first time customer attempting to find a new skin doctor in town since my move here and I will not be returning to this practice and Id advise others to look carefully for their dermatology needs and proceed with caution. UPDATE: My bill was not $260. I just received a $535.50 charge in the mail for a visit that was less than 30 mins total in this practice. I will be calling into resolve this issue for sure. Furthermore, as all who have taken the time to read these reviews and responses can see that the "owner" is teetering on the boarder of breaching client and patient confidentiality by publicizing aspects of patient treatments & visits online for all to see. I think this speaks volumes to the code of business conduct that this practice likely follows and how patients are ultimately treated.

I would be very careful about using Swinyer Woseth as your Dermatologist. I ended up missing a doctors appointment and called about 12 hours before I had it to cancle. The receptions were rude and uncaring. After speaking with them they flat out told me they were going to get their money no matter what. I ask them why the doctor could wast 45 minutes of my time and not discount my visit. After getting nowhere with their rude staff, they ended up trying to charge me $107 for the missed visit. There is a number of better upstanding Dermatologist in the valley that you would be better off seeing.

Can not believe prior post regarding receptionist(s). Both my husband and I have gone to the clinic over many a year and never have had a bad experience. Staff great, wait time minimal, very thorough exams by MD and/or PA. The MAs go over all post care instructions already given by either the Dr. Swinyer or Lauri Ellis. Diffidently very professional , personable and caring facility.

Was a patient of Swinyers son Michael, PA for too long, and finally had enough of the blatant greed and indifference towards patient care. He could care less about preventing your cancer or treating your skin problems. Poor quality and high cost. His specialty is routine fleecing of patients. Look in his eyes, and all you see are $$$$ signs. I dont recommend!

Poor customer service from receptionists. Wrongful billing/coding on visit. Reluctantly, after arguing with receptionist the NP corrected the issue, but not with out the receptionist informimg me I was wrong. Not impressed. They came highly recommended from a friend but, Ive been to better dermatologist that provide better customer service.

To say the office staff was rude would be understated. I think Dr B was great but considering the way I was treaded by others in the office I will find a different Doctor.

Fast and easy check in process. Quickly reviewed my case and discussed options. Recommended both OTC and prescription options. Knowledgeable and efficient.
