Dr. Probst use to care for a loved one of mine. She had been placed in a facility to regain her strength after an illness. However the institution ended up being an issue and they refused to release my relative to another facility with the Doctors permission. Dr. Probst refused. Finally we were able to work around the issue and moved her, however she passed away. A day or so later Dr. Probst called me personally and bed side manner was lacking. He even went as far as to tell me that he just KNEW she was going to die and it came across as almost an "I told you so" moment. It was deeply hurtful. Id also add he based the comment on a fit he had seen the person in question throw. Unfortunately at the time she had been addicted to pain killers and decided to put on a show for Dr. Probst in order to have him prescribe her meds to get her fix. As soon as he was gone, she had been fine and he had been conned. Even with that being the case, and though I should have said something, Ive never heard of a Doctor calling someone who isnt even the persons wife, husband, or even child, just o basically put them in a place seemingly out of spite
