UPDATE! About a week after I called and complained, and a couple of days after I posted this review, I was given ALL my money back! I didnt even have to call and complain a second time! I am actually impressed- it seemed like they really wanted to make things right. (I am changing my original review from 1 star to 2.) WATCH OUT! Once they get you your debit or credit card they will just keep charging it!!!! Dont fall for the membership- and read carefully any papers they get you to sign. Dont let them hurry you through any paperwork! My experience at The Joint (which I am renaming The Shady Joint) was NOT good. I went in for some minor pain in my tailbone. The first time, I walked out feeling pretty good, but after a few hours my hip was hurting. I had a muscle literally in spasms that kept me up at night and bothered me throughout the day. I went in three more times, seeing a different person each time, and having to explain the situation each time- though my explanation was barely listened to and didnt seem to help. Theyd just crack my back (it isnt my BACK, genius) and tell me to stretch my hip at home. Which I did- but wasnt solving the problem. Meanwhile, somehow I was signed up as a "member"- though I dont remember doing so! I thought I was getting 4 adjustments for 49$. The last time I went in, my account was charged another 30$! When I called to find out what was going on, the guy actually had the nerve to tell me that I should have been charged 49$, so I could look forward to another 19$ charge to my account. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? When I complained about not being explicitly told that I was signing up to be a member, Mr. Unhelpful then told me that he was sorry and that, "If it helps, the guy who signed you up no longer works here." No, Back McQuack, it doesnt help. In the end Im out 79$ and have more problems than I went in with.

One word: UNCONSCIONABLE. Look that one up folks. I severely injured my back on March 28th attempting to plant a tree. I was in excruciating pain. I wasnt able to stand up straight and could hardly breathe. I had my ride take me to the closest chiropractor in the area. That was "The Joint" in Sandy. I did this because I do not go to medical doctors for spinal issues. It has been my experience with chiropractic care, as well as any other medical care, that if you are in an elevated state of pain, you pretty much get right in to be treated. Sounds about right doesnt it? Not so at "The Joint". I literally waddled in, having to hold my body up propped on my knees. This was about 1:50 p.m. I asked if I could be seen. The young woman behind the counter told me that the "Doctor" was heading to lunch in ten minutes and that I could come back at 3:00p.m. if I wanted. I told her that I needed attention right away. At this time I could hear the Doctor in the back talking to someone else. She then told me that there was NO WAY to reschedule the Doctors lunches. I left immediately. I had to get some kind of treatment right away. Need I say more? What happened to the Hippocratic oath? If this does not differ your interest, then good luck. By the way, I had my ride drive miles away to see my Chiropractor of 14 years. He informed me that I sprained my back. I have three words for "The Joint". SHAME ON YOU.

For over two years I had suffered from neck and shoulder pain as well as server weakness from an injury while training in mixed martial arts. I was unable to lift my arm above my head some days, and couldnt turn my head on others. I tried alot of different avaenues and most were a band aid at best. Not being able to work out and train as well as teach what I loved (martial arts) was wearing on me. I went into the Joint on referal and after the first session with Dr. Davis I knew I was on good path. Roughly 2 months later I was pain free with strength returning both in my shoulder and arm as well as full mobility back in my neck. Ive done my martial arts, lifted, hiked and rock climded all sense then with no set back. I cant express or describe the freedom I feel again with not having to worry about making my injury worse or living with pain. The personal care I received from Dr. Davis was amazing and fully credit him with where I am now. I highly recommend The Joint for these reasons, every session Dr. Davis made it known that he was concerned and focused on making it so I could resume "living my life". Thank you Dr. Davis Try one of there Walk Ins, you wont regret it.

I would definitely recommend The Joint! Dr. Paul Davis is genuinely interested in seeing improvement in each of his patients! He is extremely knowledgeable with his chiropractic skills is so kind and friendly. My situation was very difficult as I came to the clinic with a bad fall from a basketball incident. My shoulder was out of place and my muscles were severely damaged around my shoulder where I could not lift my arm in any direction. After 6 visits I have made such a significant improvement! Many people consulted me and suggested that surgery would by my only alternative to regain motion in my arm and shoulder. Dr. Davis specializes in muscles and he has method that is very safe and effective! Thanks to Dr. Davis I can now lift my arm and have almost full range of motion. My husband and son also come to the clinic and have worked with both Dr. Hudson and Dr. Davis. They have also seen very positive results and our family has complete confidence in these doctors and in this clinic...it is very reasonably priced and just a great clinic! Also, there are 2 doctors so the wait time is great...I have waited 5 minutes at the most.

On 7/11/17 I went to the joint with my wife because she is pregnant and were trying to get the labor started and I have a herniated disc. She had been before so they let her in but because it was 6:45 and they close at 7 she told me that I could not fill the paperwork out because it would take to long for me to fill it out and she gets off at 7 so she could not help me. As a business owner I am baffled. I would fire one of my employees if they had such horrible customer service and turned a paying customer away especially when they were in before closing. Not to mention they work on you for 5 min so she would have let there by 7:10. Not a good experience

Apparently, they can afford to turn down patients. I went in 5 minutes before they close and they turned me away. The doctor said that he didnt have time for me. I find this extremely frustrating because in any other business, if you walk in the door before it closes, you will be taken care of; like a restaurant for example. I desperately need a back adjustment and so, with tomorrow being a holiday, I will have to wait two days to be seen by a (different ) chiropractor and my plans for the next few days off are ruined. You just lost a future patient... Not that you care.
