I started going to Caring Hands when I first moved to the area because a rescue I was volunteering with said that they were knowledgeable and affordable. Admittedly I havent exactly price checked but I take all three of my babies there and have had a great experience with them. I dont know how many vets do this but I LOVE that they have an app that gives me on-demand access to my pets records any time I need them whether it be to give to the groomers or to just look up weight and medical history. The hours are also great! I also love that theyre open on the weekends and can schedule appointments after work. A few times Id really like to give them kudos include: 1. After taking my pup to CHAH for a couple of years, I adopted to cats. CHAH was willing to do their first exam absolutely free which really built brand loyalty and acted as a true testament to the quality of their customer service. 2. One of my cats was having some medical issues that required he be on a special prescription diet. Their phones were down but they jumped through hoops to transfer notes to my local Banfield so that I could get the slip of paper I needed to buy food before they closed for the night. 3. Same kitty had a repeat medical issue right before heading out of town. Realizing late in the game that he wouldnt be able to wait until I returned to have this issue addressed, CHAH, with just hours until closing for the day approved an antibiotic prescription for him without having to pay a costly office visit. We agreed that if it happened again hed need to go ahead and be seen but their customer service in this situation I felt was absolutely stellar and I truly appreciated it. Even after moving to Vienna I still made the trek to see these guys for all of my veterinary needs and plan to continue to do so as long as I live in the area and have fur babies. :)

My dog has been to multiple vets over the years, as I have moved regularly and he requires frequent vet visits. Due to a significant health condition (that he is now recovered from), my dog had been subjected to uncomfortable procedures and once had to be left overnight so the vets could monitor his condition. He is now skittish of vets and will try to hide behind me or furniture in the room. Other vets have laughed it off and had their vet techs restrain him in order to do a full examination. In contrast, Dr. Dillon has been extremely gentle and patient. She will approach my dog carefully, speak to him in a soft voice, and even let him inspect any instruments that she will be using (like stethoscope). She also uses an ear thermometer, which is a nice change of pace from the butt thermometer that every animal hates - this is just another small way that the animals are afforded a measure of comfort and dignity. Throughout the examination, she will pet my dog and continue to speak in a soft voice. And afterwards, he is given treats! This truly embodies the philosophy of "caring hands" and I am immensely grateful to have found a vet that makes my dog feel safe.

Caring Hands of Centreville has provided the best care to our two dogs Dixie and Cane for the past three years. The staff beginning with the front desk, to the care received from the doctors has been exceptional. Everyone is always in good spirits from the time you walk through the door until you leave. They contact us within twenty four hours after any visit to ensure our pet is doing well from the visit. Most importantly, you are never rushed during an exam, and they give you the best advice for your pet regarding any medical issue encountered. I cannot say enough about everyone, and the two doctors we have seen consistently are Dr. Clendenin and Dr. Streck. Both are very knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely care as if your pet was their own. I would recommend this location to anyone who is seeking to provide exceptional care to their pets.

We take our dogs to the Centreville clinic. We moved back to Northern Virginia in September 2015. Within weeks of moving we had a crisis with our nearly 14-year old Springer Spaniel. Dr. Campfield was gentle and sensitive; so much so that we felt completely comfortable asking her assistance in helping our precious Remy cross the Rainbow Bridge the following January in our home. She has since moved to another clinic and we now take our 3 miniature schnauzers to Dr. Dillon. The care given our dogs is excellent. Caring Hands always answers our questions however trivial without ever making us feel silly. Using the VITUSVET app we are able to keep up-to-date with all reminders, notes and appointments. This clinic makes us feel we have a partnering team backing us up in our pets care. Our family whole heartedly recommends Caring Hands.

I brought my 16 year old cat to Dr Camfield for a second opinion. I had previously taken him to Pender where he was diagnosed with kidney disease. The treatment suggested by pender was to feed him kidney diet cat food. Dr Camfield repeated the blood work and agreed with kidney disease as his diagnosis. However she also recommended giving him fluids twice a week in addition to the kidney diet Thanks to Dr Camfield and caring hand animal hospital my sweet kitty,Turbo, is still do very well a full year later. He is now close to 17 I honestly think that if I had not gone to Dr Camfield Turbo might not be alive today. The staff at Caring Hands Animal Hospital are all so kind and thoughtful You cant go wrong by taking your special fur baby to them for care.

I still cannot talk much about it but I had about 48 hours from when the vets diagnosed my dog to when I had to put him down. The vets were very understanding, caring and careful to explain all costs before they were incurred at all points from when I first walked in the door to the end of the process. They worked around what I needed, got down on the floor with me so he could pass peacefully in my lap and hugged me after. A few days later I got a personal condolence note from the vet that was clearly not a stock message. While I am still hurting, this location did everything in their power to help and make this as easy a process as possible for me and my dog. I am extremely grateful to them and would recommend them to anyone.

Ben going there for 20+ years. Thru 6 Sheltie & 2 cats. They are the most professional and compassionate people Ive ever dealt with. In good times and sick times they were there for me and my family ( pets). Ive recommended them to many friends who have traveled from Vienna, Alexandria and Maryland to visit them Ive had the following vets, the first 2 left to open additional offices. Dr Newman, Dr Streck and currenting Dr Dillion who recently helped me thru the lost of my last dog. Even if I move Ill be traveling back to them Also like to mention that its not just the vets that are great, everyone there has been great - from the front desk to techs and assistants

Dr. Ashkan is amazing - my cat Jelly was really sick with a liver complication and he was urgent and clear with next steps. His team got me in right away, answered all of my questions and made an extremely stressful situation better. After my cat didnt fully recover after a few weeks, my cat sitter brought Jelly in (of course everything bad happens when youre out of town) and he referred us to an amazing emergency service that, like Caring Hands, was affordable (for an emergency vet) and gave amazing care. Thankfully Jelly is on the mend! Thank you Dr. Ashkan! **Cat friendly vet! Very knowledgeable and sensitive to feline patients**
