I was unhappy with my current Dentist and decided to find a new one. When searching for a new dentist I came across Coastal Smile Designs website and was thoroughly impressed how the website was designed and how easy it was to use. It was easy to make an appointment and I was seen very quickly. They have later hours on certain days of the week which made it easy to make an appointment after work so I didnt have to ask my boss to leave early. The moment I stepped into the office Amanda at the front desk was friendly and welcoming. I actually stood there and talked to Amanda for several minutes which is unusual for me because I lack social skills and a lot of times people dont ask me questions about myself or ask how Im doing. I was taken to the back earlier than my appointment time and the Dental Hygienist Ashley was professional and kind. I used to be an Orthodontic Assistant for 6 years and Ashley and Dr. Parvin are very knowledgeable at their job and didnt try to deceive me on treatment. Dr. Parvin was quick and efficient with my care. With my background of being an Orthodontic Assistant I have a hard time finding a dentist but I found the perfect one. The customer service was outstanding and their dental chairs can be heated and have a massage feature in them. How awesome is that to get a massage and your teeth cleaned at the same time! It is very rare I write reviews because frankly I dont have the time to be bothered but I took the time to write this one which means they are worth it. I give this place 5 stars! Sara Lewis

Dr Parvin and her staff were truly an answer to my prayers when my dentist retired and I had to search for a new practitioner. They have been like family ever since. She and her staff show outstanding customer service!!! I always get a warm and friendly reception during my appointments. The dental skills and cosmetic expertise is evident in the work they have done on my teeth. Dr Parvin is very patient, diligent and meticulous in her work, explains the process and is never in a rush. She is the first dentist who has been thoughtful and compassionate enough to call me at home after a procedure to check on my condition and progress. When she proposes a plan, I can sense that she does not sell the plan for profit but recommends it to promote her patients benefit and welfare. Shes very careful and considerate about the expense it could cost the client. Her dental staff are well trained and experienced and have the best "bed-side" manner making sure the patient is feeling secure and comfortable. Im a retired nurse with 30 plus yrs of experience and I think I have developed a strong sense in discerning the professional caliber of any medical or dental practice I deal with. Therefore, I highly recommend Dr Parvins office to family and friends and to others who need a good and caring dentist. I pray that her practice prospers and continue to provide EXCELLENT service to the community!!!

I came to Dr Parvins office with a great fear of anything beyond a routine cleaning. I had just had a filling done by another local dentist. The filling was causing me great pain. The original DMD had no idea what was going on and was charging an arm and a leg to figure it out. Dr Parvin took a fresh set of xrays and did a full exam and found very quickly I had a fracture in my tooth, that may or may not have been caused by the previous filling. She promptly referred my to specialist. I had a root canal performed. My issue was very quickly resolved and now I am pain free and have a beautiful tooth in place of the painful one. My anxiety had greatly decreased since going to her office. The chairs are actually cozy they are heated and vibrate. There is a tv there to help take my mind off of anu of the sounds that cause me anxiety. I get a set of glasses to keep any rouge polish or water from getting in my eyes. Not only is it cozy in the exam rooms, but the staff is amazing. Even when I have been 6 months over due, making it a year between visits.They know who I am, and they remember what we talked about in previous appointments. This hands down had been the best dentist I have ever been to. I love going in and seeing their smiling faces.

Let me just say that Dr. Parvin and her entire staff has given me and my children the best dental experience I could ask for. Having just moved to this area I went through a couple of dentist due to their dishonesty, un professionalism, and poor customer service. I was recommended by a friend after complaining after feeling so discouraged about finding a suitable dental practice for my family. This office exceeded my expectations!! They make me and my children feel more like family and less like patients. The experience is phenomenal. My children feel comfortable. Even down to my 3 year old that started her first dental exams here at the age of two. She has no fear and is always cooperative amd smiling as we leave. I love this place its great. I recommend her and her practice to everyone that asks about a dentist. If I have questions about billing, her staff explains everything in a well respected manner that makes me just smile. The Best Customer Service I have ever experienced in healthcare. I say that proudly as a healthcare worker. THE BEST and not just in Hampton Roads. The best I have experienced overall. So thankful I found you guys!

A couple of months ago, my husband and I were home for a visit (we are missionaries abroad) and had the most humbling experience at the hands of Dr. Parvin and her staff. It had been at least five (5) years since wed been to the dentist and the possibility of getting our teeth cleaned was a blessing we were really looking forward to. What we received instead was a spiritually humbling experience. Never would we have imagine that this visit to the dentist would feel more like a visit to the "Spa". EVERYONE we met at the office was not only courteous and professional but most importantly genuinely kind and caring. My husband and I agree that the reason for this is because of Dr. Parvin. She is definitely the one who sets the standard. Her sweet spirit, gentle hands and caring heart were the reason we felt humbled. We not only got the best teeth cleaning we had in years and a few cavities filled at no cost, but we also received a heartfelt hug from Dr. Parvin. It was "grace". (Gods grace is an unmerited gift that can not be repaid). Thank you Dr. Parvin, for incarnating Gods grace in your service to others. May God bless your every endeavor!

I have been in search of a dentist who genuinely cares about the quality of their work for some time now; I feel that I have found that in her. I was scheduled with her, initially, for a quick solution for a bad tooth (or a couple) towards the end of the day. Right from the start she noticed that my mouth needed a little more TLC, she took more time and switched me to a full comprehensive exam.... at the end of the day, and looked at every single one of my teeth... she even massaged the muscles in my face and throat in search of tell tale signs for throat cancer... to me this said a lot about they type of professional she is. I have been to many other dentists for problem teeth who dont care, the way she did. She made me feel awesome about treatment plans and reassured me that she cares about taking care of the problems that I was being seen for. I have already recommended her to my immediate family and will continue to do so for anyone else who asks me. For the first time in a long time I feel confident in the dental care and treatment ahead and am no longer afraid to see the dentist!
