For any of you that know me, you know how much I hate going to the dentist. Dr. M is making me re-think that. A little background. We had been going to the same dentist for 18+ years. When they refused our insurance, they became too expensive. After some "googleing" we found ADC. My wife and I have both gone, and had similar great experiences. Claudia (at the front desk) is great. Very friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful (especially with figuring out the insurance maze) - thanks Claudia! My wife went first, she needed a crown. Had a good experience, so then it was my turn. I had not been to the dentist in about 2 years. I needed a root canal and a crown. Dr. M was very gentle, and is VERY GOOD with the numbing needle (the worst part for me, by far). He was at a disadvantage, as his assistant wasnt there, but he was very patient, took time, never got flustered and was very kind. He got the root canal done in one sitting (with no pain during the procedure - a first for me), put in a temporary filling, and off I went. I expected some pain after the canal (I have had them in the past) but.... no! No pain at all. I was able to eat normally once the freezing wore off, and have had no bad moments. Yesterday I went in for the crown. Again, a WIZ with the numbing, popped out the temp filling, prepped the tooth... and then the cool stuff: He has this VERY cool (at least for a geek like me) CNC machine that carves the crown in his office. He did some 3D scans of my mouth, then let me watch as the machine carved my crown out of a solid block of ceramic - took about 15 minutes. He then took his time fitting it, and then fired it in the smallest kiln I have ever seen. Took another 15 minutes. Then he glued it in, and I was off. So nice to have the crown done in one visit - no going back for a second visit. I am very happy with Advanced Dental Care, and Dr. M, and will be a regular patient there. In fact I have scheduled a filling in March. I may never LIKE going to the dentist, but this is the best dental experience I have had in a LOOOOOOOng time. I just wish I had gone to him sooner. Seriously, if you are looking for a great dentist, try him.

Oddly enough, I am one of those strange people that love going to the dentist... Why? because I love that fresh, clean, only after a pro cleaning feeling and I have never had any dental issues, until lately... I had the same dentist for 30+ years, he was great and I trusted him entirely. I moved across the country from him about 3 years ago and about that same time my teeth all started shifting and weird things started happening to my bite. I saw a couple of dentists/orthodontists over the last couple years for routine cleanings and a couple of consultations about what to do about my teeth moving so much. I even had a few old fillings replaced by some needle crazy dentist that wanted to "just pull a few teeth to make room". um........ No! Anyway, now Ive moved again, to Va. and I found Advanced Dental Care. Its time for a cleaning and another consult about my worsening bite. Ive been told to pull teeth, get braces, let them stop moving before I do anything....I just dont know what to do, everyone I have seen wants to sell me a different fix, and for the first time ever I was nervous about going to the dentist. I just want my smile to be pretty again and my mouth/bite to close properly. Upon arrival I felt welcomed and thought the facility looked nice and clean. So far, so good. For the first time ever, the actual dentist cleaned my teeth! I always had the hygienists work on my teeth and then the actual dentist just look at my ex rays and check their work.... but this cleaning.....not like any other, ever. Turns out, my teeth had never been clean, not like this anyway. WOW I love that feeling! I really liked the fact that I didnt feel like I was being sold anything, only told about what was going on and my options. I found my new dentist and I wont be nervous next time. I really feel like Im in good hands here.

So grateful to find a dentist in the area like Dr. Mikhail who is so knowledgeable, understanding, so patient and above all very professional. My dentists visits are my least favorite as most of everybody else. However, Dr. Mikhail made it very pleasant and comforting. He would explain whats wrong with the teeth and offer the required treatment before proceeding and I highly respect that. He would always check if everything is fine while he is working in case there is any discomfort, and this is very appreciated. I have gone through several treatments with him so far and the end results are always impressive, especially the cosmetic ones. He is a master! His staff are very professional, helpful and so friendly. The office is very nice, clean and classy. Over all its very comforting to find a professional, very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable dentist like Dr. Mikhail in the area. I highly recommend him and his practice to anyone especially those who have bad experiences with their dentists visits in the past, they will change their minds for good!

Awesome Dentist!!!! I have been in and out of dentist offices for most of my life and am in love with Dr. Mikhail and his staff. Dr. Mikhail is extremely thorough. He takes time to explain and answer all my concerns and questions and always makes sure I am comfortable and relaxed both physically and mentally. He is very, very skilled at what he does. His equipment is very high tech which enables him to do procedures in half the time and visits it use to take. His office staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and professional (I just love them). They are very detailed and very good about helping me to understand what needs to be done, and the most time efficient way to get it done. Their office is so beautiful, relaxing and peaceful that you dont even feel like your in a dentist office. I am so happy I found Dr. Mikhail and will continue to use him and highly recommend him! Best dentist ever! p.s. He pulled out a wisdom tooth and I didnt even realize he had pulled it out!!!

Dr. Mikhail and his entire staff are just fantastic! I was holding off on writing the review until I had a few visits completed as generally dentist visits arent the most enjoyable, thankfully every time has been a pleasant experience. The Dr. is professional, quick, and absolutely great while working on your teeth. You can tell he actually cares about doing an awesome job and is detail oriented. Combine him with the assistant and you have a great team. I believe he just added a new hygienist who did my initial cleaning, shes young but blew me away at how gentle and thorough she was. A true stand out has been the receptionist, after submitting all the relevant info online she took the initiative to get all my insurance info and have everything ready when I showed up. Shes done a great job explaining all the costs in detail and scheduling appointments. Highly recommended, so glad to have found a rock star dental office!
