When my wife and I moved to Woodbridge in May 11, we were faced with the daunting task of looking for a new dentist. We never really got around to it until I began suffering from a nasty toothache. My old dentist in the Landmark area of Alexandria told me they could "squeeze me in inbetween other patients". The only catch was that I had to be there the NEXT morning at 8:30am as they had no openings available for me even though I was suffering from a very painful opening myself. With the assistance of some cordials and some "sleep nice" tablets I made it through the night and was in the Landmark office the next morning at 8:30am sharp. I waited and waited and when I was tired of waiting, I waited some more. When I was finally the lucky lottery winner whos name was called next, I was subjected to a rather painful poking and prodding process with sharp, but sterile, dental tools only to be told that "I cant do anything for you today as I am the only Doctor here". The only thing that kept me from blowing up at this jackass was that his tools were sharper than my wit and he probably wouldve charged me for any broken teeth I suffered from biting my tounge. My wife got the muffled version of my experience and promptly began searching for a dentist who was actually willing to take on a new patient who was in pain. Not only was Dr. Lotfis office accepting new patients, but they could take me that very day. From the initial phone conversation to the not-so-painful procedure, it became evident to both my wife and I that we had found our new family dentist in Woodbridge. The office staff are tremendous ladies with radiant smiles (go figure - they work for a dentist!). My Hygentist, Jenn, is a Ghanian Goddess with an easy laugh and Dr. Lotfi himself is gentle, calm, patient and caring. I have NEVER received a follow-up call from any health care provider except Dr. Lotfi. WCDC does not stand for "Woodbridge Comfort Dental Care". It stands for "Wicked Cool Doctor who Cares"!

CONSUMER BEWARE: Verify your OWN INSURANCE BENEFIT BEFORE receiving any services from this office!! Their billing department is either incompetent and/or purposefully giving patients misinformation to receive a higher payout for routine care. Most definitely looking for a new dentist after being charged out of pocket for a routine cleaning even after the billing department informed me that all I was responsible for paying out of pocket was the fluoride treatment. I called in December to schedule an appointment and asked that my insurance be verified since my dental plan has an annual maximum benefit that resets in January. They scheduled me in a few days being reassured that my cleaning would be covered for that calendar year. It wasnt. Had they given me the correct information, I could have saved a couple hundred dollars and scheduled my cleaning appointment in 2 weeks at the beginning of January when it would have been covered 100% by my dental plan. Losing me as a patient may not impact them significantly but sharing my experience will hopefully help patients make more informed decisions.

I have been to many dentists over the last 35 years and I can say without hesitation that Dr. Lotfi is hands down THE BEST dentist ever . I have a very low threshold for pain and have had nitrous with all procedures performed at the dentist during my lifetime. My last visit with Dr. Lotfi I went without the nitrous and was pleasantly surprised at how pain free the Dr. made it. Dr. Lotfi constantly asks if I am okay during the procedure and is very sensitive to my comfort during procedures. When I first came to Dr. Lotfi, he gave me options as to treatment which I greatly appreciated since the previous dentist had one very expensive solution that was not taking my situation in to consideration. I have found a keeper in Dr. Lotfi and will be a lifetime patient. From the moment you walk in the door until you walk back out you will be treated by a friendly courteous staff. Dr. Lotfi is not only awesome at his profession, he has been fortunate in hiring an awesome staff. I love this Dr. I love his staff and would highly recommend them without hesitation.

I am so happy to have discovered this practice. They were not only able to fit me in for my first dental consult and cleaning right away, but as soon as I arrived at the office, I was greeted by a very kind and friendly staff member named Angie. My dental hygienist was Ann and she was awesome. She educated me about dental health, we discussed affordable options to help close the gap between my spreading teeth and she thoroughly explained the results of the x-ray performed on my jaws/teeth. She even showed me tartar buildup on my teeth, so I knew exactly what it looked like and where it could be hiding. She also made sure I was flossing correctly. Never during the entire visit did my gums bleed or did I feel any pain or discomfort. Not only did I learn a lot from her, but she was very caring- made sure I was comfortable during my entire visit and managed to make me laugh, as well. What a compassionate and wonderful staff- including Ann, Angie and Stephanie! I highly recommend this office for anyone. I can finally look forward to going to the dentist now.

Amazing! I went to another dentist in town and was STUCK with them for years. And I mean STUCK because I thought all dentists were the same. They yell at you for not flossing or brushing enough, they rush through the exam and you get a few seconds of face time with the actual dentist. NOT TRUE WITH DR. LOTFI!!!!! I hadnt been to the dentist in 3 years and I never floss but he didnt give me a hard time at all. He just ENCOURAGED me to do it and told me why I should do it. I was made comfortable and he talked me through the whole exam, asking me if I was comfortable. HE actually cleaned me teeth! I decided to get veneers and that was an amazing process. I received 8 total veneers and it was painless. Not pain FREE but pain-less. The staff know me by first name and now my whole family goes. I am so thankful for Dr. Lotfi because now I have my smile back. Because of discolored, broken and gapp-y teeth I havent had it for years, but now I cant stop smiling. Thank you, Dr. Lotfi and staff !!!!!

Dr. Lotfi and his staff are top notch professionals and clearly hold customer care and service as their top priorities. The office is ultra modern and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. My appointment was right on time with no waiting. Dr. Lotfi carefully explained everything he was going to do during my procedure for a new crown. There were no surprises and virtually no discomfort at all. He even telephoned me the day after my procedure to make sure everything was okay and that I was not having any problems..........he is the first dentist I have seen who has ever taken that extra step to follow up with me. I highly recommend Dr. Lotfi and Woodbridge Comfort Dental Care to everyone looking to establish a long-term relationship with an excellent dentist. You will not be disappointed.
