Dr Farber is consistently the most reviewed and lowest rated psychiatrist/psychologist in NOVA. There are support groups for people that feel victimized by him. My experience was that he is more interested in impressing colleagues and those with the power to refer mandatory cases to him (court-ordered) than he is in actually understanding the case - he tells the purse holder what they want to hear. I believe him to be a scam artist and a narcissist. Strongly recommend you stay away.

This narcissistic man is a total jerk who takes all your money and leaves you in a position worse than how it stated. He does not care at all about his patients, especially the children. He is well known for manipulating and harassing children verbally until the are pushed to the breaking point. His methods are not approved by any qualified organization and his credentials are false. Do not go to Edward Farber unless you want to be tormented!

book contains absolute victim blaming advising the person stalked bullied and abused to change their ways and all will be ok for the child subjected to the abuser . This is everything that is wrong with society when retraumatising women and children who have been forcibly subjected to abusers . Disgraceful and harmful toxic ideas . Shows a total lack of understanding and absence of insight and professionalism.

Run the other way. What a lousy experience and a lousy outcome. I will tell everyone I know to never see him. I have at least 20 people I have steered the other way. Total waste of money.
