All of the vets at Bon Air Animal Hospital (Drs. Cline, Haney, and Lipstock) are excellent, and I recommend all of them. They employ a team approach to patient care, and because of that, Ive always been able to see one of the vets very soon after calling for an appointment--and it is always at an appointment time thats convenient for me. With that said, I have had difficult times when I relied on one vet at Bon Air in particular for help with my very ill dog. That vet was always always there for me, no matter what. So, Bon Air offers a team approach with individual attention. It doesnt get any better than that!

Convenient location and friendly staff who treats you and your pet like a life long friend. First impression couldnt have been better: our cat was having her kittens and despite the fact that we had never been there before they recognized the emergency at hand and were at the door waiting for us less than 5 minutes after I called to tell them the situation. They seem to stay very busy and the only complaint Ive heard some people say is its expensive. However, from my experience, if thats true its not a deal breaker because its nothing more than a few bucks compared to other vets on Southside

I work at an animal hospital down in Roanoke, and am in town for the weekend for my sisters baby shower. They worked me in on a Saturday morning, which I know is a busy day, and the visit was quick and easy. Dr. Haney was very kind, and gentle with pepper and got blood results in a quick manor. The front desk staff was kind, the tech was kind, the assistants were all kind, overall I had an awesome visit, being on the other side of the spectrum. Thank you everybody for helping my gal get back on her feet again.

Without the dedication and love of animals that Dr. Tom Haney gives to all his patients, my wonderful dog would not be alive. He is one of the most knowledeable and kind veterinarians that I have ever known. He never makes you feel like he is rushing to get you out so he can see the next appointment. If you are looking for someone who really cares to care for your pet, : ) this is the place.

I was visiting town when one of my dogs got a severe eye infection. They were able to get me in to see a vet same day despite a full schedule, and quickly diagnosed what was wrong. They made me feel very comfortable, clearly explained each test or procedure, and discussed the process they went through diagnosing my dog. Great service and nice people!

Dr. Haney and team are amazing. They truly care for your animal as if it their own. Diversely trained they can treat about anything with four legs. Dr. Lipstock is great, a recent graduate he is up to date on the latest technologies and practices. I wouldnt go anywhere else.
