Doc Mouser has been my vet for over 10 years and I wish all vets had the level of integrity and compassion he has! He has been to my home dozens of times to evaluate my animals, and only charged me $20 for the home visit. He sells medications at his cost, never does he mark anything up for profit because his priority is not to get rich at the expense of the animals health, but to insure that quality veterinary care is affordable and available to all animals! He has saved my dogs lives, even if it is on a Sunday. One of my pups was bitten by a copperhead on a Sunday. He opened his office just for me that afternoon, treated her with anti-vein and antibiotics, and only charged me $40 for the whole thing! Where in the United States could ever have this same level of care? NOWHERE could even get in the door on a weekday, much less a weekend emergency, for $40? All vets charge more than that just for a standard appt fee! Doc Mouser is one of the first 1000 veterinarians licensed in the state of Virginia and his wife is the THE first vet tech licensed in the state of Virginia. We, his clients, love him.

Rude, unprofessional and overbooks clients. I waited with my dying dog for 2 hours past my scheduled appointment, only to have this vet try to drag my Poor pup, whod been having nose bleeds and trouble breathing, by his collar on a leash into the back where the over night"facilities" are located ( and where supposedly I was not allowed...evidently it is appropriate to evaluate a client and their pet in a waiting room full of people with NO privacy). Of course I changed my mind about leaving my baby there, because if youd do that in front of a pet owner, what goes on when they arent around??!! Terrible terrible service. Would not recommend tho ANYONE!!! EVER!#

Best vet for 1000 miles....hes not there to hold your hand and tell you its gonna be ok....he there to fix animals. I love this vet, very strait foward and no BS. And he doesnt do worthless tests that cost hundreds of dollars for nothing like all the other vets around here....best ive ever seen...will be going to him for as long as i can.

Friendly, inexpensive, and willing to make appointments on weekends. Also this vet treated my pets for what I took them there for and didnt try to run a series of expensive tests.
