Yes, the prices or reasonable however, they are not very professional. When taking my pet to have a procedure done, the vet didnt even come to meet us beforehand. We had to ask to meet the vet that would being preforming the procedure. They never called us to check on our pet during the recovery period. When we took our pet to have the staples removed the vet never came out. The front desk girl came around at the desk and pulled out the staples, dropping them on the floor, and being a little rough. She also tried scolding us because we didnt have the head cone with us, when we were never told to bring it. The paperwork we were given only said to leave the cone on for 3 days and this was 14 days later AND we were with our pet to ensure nothing would happen. In my opinion they need to replace this front desk employee with someone who is a little more friendly and at least seems to care about the animals. The vet, or an actual tech, needs to be the one to check the pet to ensure everything is healing properly. Everything just seemed very unprofessional.

During the 4 years I lived on Brandi Court (2008-2012), I took my male cat to the Animal Care Center of Strasburg for all of his appointments. The prices for vaccinations (including Rabies) were comparable to those of other vets and the staff did a great job keeping me informed of vaccinations that were coming due. The vet was patient and gentle in handling my cat, and took time to listen to my questions and provide easy-to-understand answers. I wish the lobby area had more seating (there was only a bench when I went there), but I never had to wait more than 10 minutes for an appointment. The Animal Care Center is in a strip mall, so parking right in front of the main door isnt always available, but theres plenty of parking in the area.

I take both of my German Shepherds here (1.5 year old female and 10 month old male). They both love the staff and actually want to go inside to see them. When my male needed emergency surgery they took care of him immediately, let me visit with him every day until he could go home, and went out of their way to work around my schedule instead of theirs. The staff here goes the extra mile to make sure that not only the dogs are taken care of but also to answer any of my questions and concerns. I recommend this facility to all of my friends and family.

I wanted to go the second I arrived. The place is unsettling. The lack of courtesy to the myself and my pet was astonishing. I never met a vet(but heard him hacking up a lung) as apparently no one is allowed beyond the waiting room, where one may sit and gaze at a dirty fish tank with some guppies, a few of which were floating. The facility is unkempt and The place smells like dog crap and smoke? I love my animals and would be reluctant to bring a stray goat here for care. Will never bring a pet here again.

This place was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! My dog was hit by a car and the day after the girl was pulling her by her collar telling her she was being a drama queen for not wanting to walk to the back with her. The people are outrageously rude and so OBVIOUSLY couldnt care any less about animals. We never met the vet and were told our dog needed a surgery that after we got a second opinion from our actual vet office found out she didnt. They are WAY overpriced and just not people I want anywhere near my pets.

Dr. Constance Houk and the staff (Cassie, Liz and Becky) are a credit to their profession and Warrenton is lucky to have such a dedicated crew serving our community. They cared compassionately and professionally for my best friend, my dog Koyote, until her end. The animal care center has fit me in for same day visits numerous times and has spoken with me after hours numerous times. They do go the extra mile! When looking for a vet to treat your best friend, look no farther.

I first used this vet when I move into the area. I found the doctor very educated and pleasant. When my dog needed surgery they were the first to assist me and were very nice. When I questioned a estimate for a following surgery the doctor would not return my phone calls for over a month. The front desk staff was extremely rude. I was also lied to. Do not use this veterinary location and less you would like to be given the runaround and treated unfair and disrespected.

I took my Pit to this vet for skin problems 6 times in 8 months, and they just kept charging me more and more money and nothing changed .They would put him on antibiotics and steroids once they were gone he would break out again...I decided to change his flea med to Advantage and I have never had any more skin problems.....NO THANKS TO THIS VET!!!!! I think they owe me some money!!!!!!!

Took my dog to get spayed here. Had absolutely terrible service, it was unclean, and my poor dog almost died. They overdosed her on anesthesia and tried to send her home even though she couldnt walk and was bleeding from her incision site! Absolutely disgusted with the care we received! Would NEVER EVER recommend to ANYONE! If you love your pets, DONT GO HERE!

Despite the "no smoking" sign, this place wreaked of cigarette smoke. The service is terrible and the staff isnt friendly. This was my second experience here and I didnt come back by choice. I would look for another vet.
