I felt like this dentist looked at my x-rays, told me I had gum disease, and gave me one option of paying $1400 for root scaling and planing with expensive follow up visits. I feel like, since I was unable to pay that, I was of no real interest or concern. I got a 2nd opinion and ended up paying MUCH less for a debridement. My partner also went here, and had a similar experience. I feel like she is only in dentistry for the money. She made me feel like my mouth was in horrible shape, when the opposite is true. My recommendation is that, if she tells you that you need to be a perio patient, get a 2nd opinion. If she quotes you some outrageous price, get a 2nd opinion.

I went to Dr.Gowda when I was 6 months pregnant because a tooth broke and it was giving me some minor pain issues. I felt like I was scolded!! I was aware that my teeth were in bad shape. I wanted her to help me instead I felt judged and a little humiliated! Not to mention I was super hormonal! She saying how your teeth get like this from eating sugar and drinking soda and how I would gain weight if I continued to eat that way.She also looked down at me when she was saying these things and I felt so fat and disgusting. Needless to say I wont be going back there to get my work down.

Needed a broken crown replaced and the staff were remarkable and professional in getting me in immediately to see Dr. Gowda. Dr. Gowda was very gentle and thorough in correcting my issue as well as finding other items that will need to be addressed. The office setting is very warm and comfortable and obvious that everyone takes pride in creating a very professional and up-to-date environment.

Very clean, spacious - was my first impression. Staff was professional, friendly, gracious and didnt make me wait. Didnt feel like they took me to a cubical or phone booth sized room but was open and roomy. Doctor smiled, was professional and actually sat with me and had a conversation. For my first visit -- Id have to give them an A++ Plan to have my wife make an appointment too.

As someone who has never been the least bit comfortable in a dentist office, I have to say that going to Dr. Gowda has changed my outlook and shattered my phobia. She is more than competent, she is comforting and has the most delicate and artistic hands that make any procedure a pleasant experience. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a dentist.

I first saw Dr. Gowda 3 years ago after avoiding dentists for over 17 years. I now go at least quarterly for cleanings and more often if required. Dr. Gowda and her staff are exceptional. She even made my root canal a pleasant experience. I cannot imagine myself going anywhere else.
